“Once again, Thank you for taking good care of my boys, Axl and Eliot! I know that they are always in good hands and I don’t worry about them. Merry Christmas and Have a Hapoy New Year!”

“Katie is absolutely fabulous. She is trustworthy and super friendly, and our cat loves when she comes to take care of her!! Always our first choice!”

“Laura is excellent! She came by for two meet and greets, for the visit was always on time, and the dogs were well taken care of. She's great at filling out the care card and keeping us informed of the visits. Highly recommend, I will use again!”

About: I currently have two senior dogs who get along very well with other dogs. One is special needs due to her level of fearfulness from abuse in her past. I have experience with dogs having shyness or fearfulness, flight risk dogs, as well as rambunctious ones. For boarding or doggy daycare during the day, I work 3 blocks from home and have a 6-ft privacy fence in my back yard, which is 110 linear sq ft. Weekday potty breads are in the morning until 8am, again at 12pm, then I'm home at 4:30. I have a 3-minute walk from work straight to my home, so I can provide care any day of the week. I spend my weekday lunch breaks at home to relieve the dogs and play with them. In a client's home for stop-ins/potty breaks, I follow any instructions to the tee! In my home, safety and feeling loved are top priorities. No outside access doors are ever left open, the fence is padlocked, and I even have a safety gate on my front porch.

“Audrey was great with both our cats and was very attentive to their habits/behaviors. We were much at ease knowing that audrey was taking care of the babues while we were away!”

“Stacey E braved the weather, snow, bad roads and distance to help my good cat recover. She offered excellent tips, advice, and quick hands to pop a pill into my cat for recovery. Five stars and three cheers! Thank you.”

“Amy is very reliable and provided great care for my cat.”

About: I’ve been a dog owner since age 7, and when I got my first dog, my parents were strict about me caring for it! I’ve had dogs and worked in volunteer shelters for almost 10 years now, and animals are a passion of mine. I work full time, but love to see animals in the mornings or evenings! Helping animals is a big passion of mine so I always make it work into my schedule! I love taking pets to the park, throwing a ball around or going for walks up at 3 miles. Even a hike can be great fun!

About: I have always had a pet in my house since the day I was born. Mostly dogs, but I have also had other smaller pets. I now have one 12 year old chocolate lab and one 6 year old black lab that I take care of everyday. Because of this I have experience with puppies and older dogs, along with dealing with more than one pet at a time. I currently have school from 10:30-2:15 but I am free anytime before then and after that. I also am available almost every weekend if needed. I have a fenced in yard with a doggy door to get outside and two friendly dogs to keep your pet company. I love to take my pets on walks or just play with them in the house or yard.

“Grace was an amazing pet sitter! She was reliable, communicated daily and she took pictures. We know that our fur babies were in good and hands and well taken care of. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Valerie is the best! We needed someone to look after our rabbit for the weekend and she was a huge help! She was a fast responder and provided us with pictures of the little guy each day so we wouldn't miss him too much. She was even nice enough to bring in our packages for us!!! Highly recommend Valerie.”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my lifelong love for animals and the care I’ve provided to my own furry family. I have three amazing dogs and a cat who fill my days with joy, and they’ve taught me so much about patience, attention, and the unconditional love pets bring to our lives. On top of that, I’ve spent over five years working with animals, from caring for wildlife during an internship to looking after pets as a kennel attendant for VIP Boarding! I’ve worked and studied animal behavior throughout college, which has helped me better understand how animals think, feel, and communicate. I’ve learned to handle all kinds of personalities—shy, energetic, or senior pets needing extra care—and I always approach every animal with love and understanding. Your pets will be cared for like they’re part of my own family! I work Mondays-Wednesdays 8 am to 3 pm and Thursdays and Fridays 3 pm to 9 pm. Saturdays and Sundays are TBD, but I am flexible! I’d maintain their usual routine, including feeding, walks, and playtime, to keep them comfortable. I tailor my approach based on each pet's needs, whether that’s providing mental stimulation for dogs or ensuring cats have a quiet retreat. I’m also experienced in administering medication if needed, ensuring their health and well-being are prioritized. I communicate regularly with pet owners to provide updates and follow any special instructions. My goal is to make sure pets feel secure, loved, and cared.

“We were very pleased with Hailey's care of Simon not to mention the great job caring for the plants. She was consistent in her arrival time and followed all directions completely. Definitely would rebook.”

About: I have many years of experience taking care of many different kinds of animals. I also used to work at a doggie daycare and boarding facility. I was laid off recently, so my schedule is very open for right now. I wouldn’t have a huge issue fitting it into my schedule. I’ve cared for many pets at once so taking dogs out separately, crating them at night or feeding them differently and separating them is no issue. I can accommodate most requests.

“I always have such peace of mind when Sarah is watching/taking care of our cat. She always sends photos and gives timely updates even if our cat is hiding most of the time. I never worry when we hire Sarah!”

“Dominique was amazing with my 2 cats during all her visits! She responded quickly to messages and went above and beyond to care for my pets. I definitely recommend Dominique to anyone!”

“Madison was the reason for our Merry Christmas and exceeded all expectations I had as a first time Rover client. In fact, this was the first time I’ve ever hired someone to watch my cats, as I’ve always had coverage since running my cat rescue, but a recent move left us in need of help and Madison made all my worries fall away. She was warm and attentive, took the time to meet us beforehand and was interested in our cats and their needs, and then made sure she did all we asked and more during our time away over the Christmas holiday. Madison even managed to give Grace, our elderly diabetic cat, her insulin injections and to ease the anxiety of our usually skittish tuxedo kitty, Ellie. She made sure to spend extra time with Pookie, our newest addition and newly socialized kitty, in order to reassure him and provide a sense of security and comfort for him. She went above and beyond to connect with all 3 of our fur babies, and sent texts and pictures and regularly communicated with me. I was impressed and it’s hard to impress me. Madison was respectful of our home and left everything clean and tidy, even double checking with me on our return to ensure we didn’t need any additional coverage or help, and she truly made my Christmas with out of state family the meaningful and connective occasion it’s meant to be. I’m so grateful for Madison and her excellent work ethic and intuitive way with cats. Having run a rescue for years and taken care of many cats myself, this is high praise, and I look forward to hiring Madison to care for my most precious cat family. She’s simply top notch. I hope this helps someone else considering hiring their first time pet sitter too, as I read many reviews ahead of time and still wasn’t sure until I actually went through the experience, but you’ll be able to enjoy your time away with Madison as your pet caretaker; she really exemplifies the best of those who choose to help others by caring for their pets.”

“Disha was exceptional. She extended her care more than any other pet sitter I have ever had-- and the pets took to her immediately in our meet-and-greet. She went beyond what I expected and communicated with notes, photos and videos with every visit. I was also very impressed by her knowledge and experience with both wildlife and veterinary care. I wholeheartedly recommend her and will certainly rebook now that I know I can leave my cats and fish in her capable hands.”
