About: Hi, my name's Kat and I'm a cartoonist who works remotely and would love to be your dog’s new friend! I grew up on a farm in middle of nowhere Tennessee taking care of dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and all sorts of critters. Rescuing dogs with my mom instilled a love of animals in me that's remained a constant throughout my life. I have over a decade of experience working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, using positive reinforcement techniques heavily inspired by Patricia B. McConnell's The Other End of the Leash. I'm an active human who runs, hikes, or hits the gym every day, and can easily handle whatever level of activity your pup needs to stay healthy and happy. I work remotely and my schedule is very flexible. I run and hike most days with my malinois and am happy to add any high energy pups to our routine! I'm very attentive to what clients need regarding their animal’s care. My own dog is a very playful young malinois who loves guests. I have a fenced in yard for regular play and potty breaks, and live next to Taylor Mt so nature walks are a staple of our day!

“Michelle was awesome. Communicated clearly with us so we knew when she was arriving. Our dogs loved her. Now they are tuckered out and napping after their great adventure with Michelle. Thanks for taking care of them. Would have given 10 stars if it was available!!”

“Cynthia was very sweet with my dog, and sent lots of pictures and a detailed update at the end of the walk, which was much appreciated. She was also very responsove, flexible, & accommodating with scheduling. I will be asking Cynthia to walk Hazelnut again soon!”

About: I've had pets since I was a little girl and raised my daughters with both dogs and cats. They are a constant source of joy, love, and entertainment. I currently have two shelter dogs, Scout and Francie, who pass their time chasing squirrels, running at Dillon Beach, and bickering over the best spot on the bed. I've helped friends and neighbors with their pets over the years, and love getting to knew each pup's unique personality. Our dogs' "cousins" - two energetic dachshunds - are particular favorites. I will be happy to take excellent care of your dogs and cats while you're away - with plenty of walks, cuddles, and care. I'm a retired nanny, so my time is my own and I will be able to provide your pets with frequent exercise and stimulation. My husband is here at home to care for our own dogs when I am away playing with your pets. I am happy to take care of your pets in your home. In my house, our dogs are treated like our children now that our kids are grown. We plan daily activities for them, including walks, hikes, the beach, and parks - and I will do the same for your pups! Our norm is to walk the dogs three times per day, but I am happy to accommodate the needs of your dogs.

“Katy has done an amazing job with Gus. She’s trustworthy, goes above and beyond what is asked, and Gus’s wagging tail says it all when he’s on a walk with Katy. Will use her for all my future needs?”

About: I grew up in a household that always had a pet dog, cat and at times other rodents and reptiles. I have always loved animals, so I helped a lot with pet care at home and with neighbors. Horses have aways been my favorite, I started lessons at 10 and started working around 14. I am 26 and have been in the industry since then. I have ranch sat for properties with over 100 different individual animals including horses, pigs, goats, sheep, llamas, chickens, dove, quail, rabbits, dogs and cats. I have also had job positions where I am solely responsible for 8 horses on a remote ranch on an island with no vet on it. Although this is less dog experience it shows my ability to handle responsibility and provide excellent house sitting and animal care. I have also watched and helped care for roommates and friends' dogs and cats throughout my life. Basically, my life has always involved caring for a plethora of animals including dogs and cats. I just moved back home after travelling and I do not have a set routine yet. Therefore, I am currently available whenever! This will eventually change. I care for pets with the utmost attention to detail with the goal of having a good time! I am very respectful of other people's spaces, beliefs, training methods, etc. When caring for pets in a client's home it is fairly simple. I just follow the instructions given and ask questions as needed. The important thing in my opinion is clear communication. I try to maintain the pet's routine as closely as possible as I believe that helps decrease stress in transition and change. I am very active so love to take dogs on walks and runs. I love spending time with animals, but I do provide firm boundaries. Unless I am asked to use a handling methodology or strategy, I mostly use positive reinforcement and reserve negative reinforcement for potential dangerous situations.

About: I grew up having cats and dogs my whole life. I adopted my own cat in August of 2023, which has been the best experience of my life! I love all animals and would love to help other busy pet owners! 💛 I just moved to Santa Rosa and I am still looking for a full-time job. I have all the time in the world to care for your babies! I am willing to accommodate to most any pet needs. My goal is to make your fur baby comfy and happy, whether it’s in their own home or mine. My cat is absolutely spoiled and I will treat your animals the same!

“Mackenzie is reliable and very adapt at being with dogs. Our dog is a bit apprehensive when on a walk she encounters other dogs. Kenzie has helped her the less reactive. I will definitely recommend.her.”

About: Though i’m more of a cat person, i love dogs very much as well. I’ve always walked dogs for my neighbors, as well as my own dog, Sophia! I am at a point in my work life where I am relatively free, leaving me lots of time to spend with your fuzzy friends! One thing I am always extra careful of is making sure I respect animals boundaries. I will never force an animal to be social, and I prioritize comfort and safety at all times.

“I’m so glad Lindsey was able to walk and feed our pup while we were gone for part of the day! Lindsey was super communicative and sent lots of photos and videos so we could see how much fun our pup was having with her. She even took her on an extra long walk and played with her after. It was such a relief to see our dog in good hands while we were away!”

She is kind, loving, patient, and very caring, and I would feel confident in her ability to be a caregiver for my animal. She is quite knowledgeable about animal needs, and understands animal behavior. She has rescued many cats and dogs and has helped them over come their fears and other challenges. Adriana has volunteered at Fawn Rescue, an organization that rescues and returns orphaned fawns to the wild, as an educational assistant who teaches children about wildlife in Sonoma County.”

Toni O.
“Toni is awesome! She took great care of my animals and sent me several photos and videos. They all loved her! We had a little snafu with a garage door that wouldn't close, but Toni handled it great, and stayed until I could get someone out there to get it fixed even though she had other things to do that day. She's super sweet, responsible, and clearly loves animals. I would recommend her to anyone!”

Sheila G.
“I have known Sheila Gregg for 25 years. She is a highly educated, very intelligent, honest, caring, and hard working trustworthy person. Sheila is excellent with pets - having owned dogs and cats a great part of her life. Her relationship with animals is incredible - she truly connects with them, with their energy. Sheila will literally take the best care of your pet - that is her purpose. And your pets will love her.”

Michael is awesome! He was such a huge help for my family and he worked with us walking our Great Dane for almost a year. We are so bummed to see him go and he is already missed by our pup. He is such a great person and deserves the highest recommendations ! 10 out of 10 all around !

Mackenzie is so great with my dog Toby. He’s a little skittish at first, but he warms up to her and loves his walks every time. Also, she takes the best pictures of him that I look forward to every time he goes for a walk. She even takes the time to give my mom‘s dog a few pets even though she’s not gonna be taking her for a walk. 😊
