About: I’ve been taking care of many different animals since childhood and I am a new attending student of NC State University to become a veterinarian and to expand my knowledge to help all creatures I can! Pet care fits into my lifestyle because it is helping to give me more hands on experience and unexpected emergencies while attending veterinary school learning. I have a fenced in back yard my 3 dogs run the yard and love it. My own pets eat twice a day unless they obviously what more, same with my 3 cats. All my pets get along and love each other very much.

About: I used to walk dogs in my senior year of high school and my early 20s. I may not have dogs of my own but I know how to give them love, care and all the treats :) I am a full-time online student so taking care of pets fits perfectly well into my schedule as I am home most days. I can set my schedule so taking care of your fur baby is no issue or conflict with my schedule. I like to ask as many questions about pets, their needs, health, limits, and the things they enjoy or do not enjoy. I also ask about the client's home, where things are kept and I treat the home as if it is my own!

“Vader seemed to have a great time with Zoe! She sent pictures every day of him hanging with her dogs or cuddling with her on the couch. He can be nervous with new dogs but she was patient with him and helped him settle in. I would love to hire Zoe to watch Vader for future trips.”

“Very nice lady and a beautiful home for my ? doggie to stay and play. Very kind and knowledgeable of my pets needs . Just couldn’t be happier with Roadie ?staying with her. Was very very pleased ??”

About: We each have had dogs of all kinds and sizes since we were little. We both share a love of dogs. Several people have relied on us to board, walk, and/or feed their dogs. I am currently recovering from an injury, so I am out of work for the time being. So someone will be with your fur baby at all times. When I do go back to work, me and my fiancée both have the weekends off, so we are available full time on the weekends. If we are needed during the week, my fiancée will be able to come home on lunch breaks to let the dogs out. We have a dog of our own that will give your fur babies some company. We have a big backyard that they can roam around in. We also have a large crate if needed. We will be with the dogs at all times when they are outside. The inside of our home is spacious, and we will allow them on the furniture if that is what they are used to.

About: I love animals, especially ones that love to cuddle! I love training and spending time with them! I currently have a 9 year old senior husky and a 3 month old german sheppard puppy. I have been looking after animals since I was young. I grew up on a farm. Our senior is mellow, talkative, and playful. He loves other dogs and people. Our 3 month old puppy is in training. He is full of energy, playful, welcoming, and loves his naps. Our puppy is on a training and feeding schedule so I am happy to accommodate those needs. Our senior needs one on one walks, and cuddle time so I understand that every senior has their own limits and needs. I give both of my pups preventative medications and our senior takes daily oral medication, I am happy to do that for your pup as well. Since I already have 2 dogs you can see that pets naturally fit into my daily schedule. I take them for walks twice a day. My pups eat on a schedule three times a day. I play with them before work, on my lunch break, and after work during the week. We wind down at night with some cuddles and a rub down. On the weekends we enjoy going to the beach to swim or playing outside in the yard. My pups can never go on enough walks so they are always up for more walks. Your pups will get plenty of exercise and some down time as well to nap and chew on toys. I have two friendly dogs who will play with your pup(s) and keep them company. My pups are Crate trained for sleeping/naps if need be, they are also free range in the house. Whatever you choose I will accommodate! I do not have a fenced in yard but I always put my pups outside on a running cable to keep them safe. Our pups are always on a leash and colllar/harness for walks.

However, I am looking forward to reaching out to more people than just my neighbors to help with your special family members. Your dogs would have a family environment here! We are able to wash your pup if you think they would enjoy it. I have two kids of my own that are 4 and 6 that LOVE animals and your pups would definitely get loads of attention. I work in Wilmington so I am able to do drop in around that area during the week. If your pet has any specific needs or schedule I’m able to do anything you need. Your pup will be part of the family here and we have the perfect schedule that makes it easy to care for animals. The dogs basically cycle between inside and outside all day with lots of playtime. Dogs definitely go home tired from here. I have a large backyard and a small pup of my own. If your dog needs to be crated at night or sleep with me I can do either or. “It is obvious that Kimberly and her family are passionate about taking care of and rescuing animals. They love on their animals and I'm certain that Bella got as much love and care from Kimberly as I would have given her myself. Drop off of Bella was easy and Kimberly was very accomodating with a last minute time change when I departed for my trip a few hours later than planned. My 4 star review is due to poor communication. I am a pet owner who desires/expects frequent communication, photos and videos from a paid pet sitter (at least one time per day). I especially expect to get an update from a pet sitter within a few hours of drop-off to let me know how Bella is settling in, etc. Communication from Kimberly was not reliable and except for a couple of messages only came when I contacted her asking for an update. 24 hours after drop-off, I had heard nothing from Kimberly so I messaged her to enquire how Bella was getting along. Kimberly was always quick to reply but even after telling her that I expect at a minimum daily updates, it was still a struggle to get updates, photos, etc. She did eventually send a couple of updates without being asked. Pick-up was not as easy as drop-off. The day prior to my arrival home I informed Kimberly of my approximate arrival time and asked if that was convenient. She replied that she would be there all day. When I was approximately one hour away, I messaged Kimberly and told her I was on track for the time I had told her the day prior. She replied that she wouldn't be home until about 30 minutes after my arrival. When I mentioned the previous day's response about being home all day, she replied that her mother would take care of whatever Kimberly was supposed to be doing and she would stay home and wait for my arrival. This wasn't a huge deal but it was a little frustrating to not have better communication. And after a long drive, it would have been even more frustrating to have to wait around for her return home - especially when I had taken the time to communicate with her the day prior about my arrival time. I am aware that Kimberly had some family issues in the first couple of days of caring for Bella but I offered to have someone pick Bella up and make other arrangements for her care. Kimberly told me that wasn't necessary that she could continue to care for Bella. I am not unfeeling toward Kimberly's family situation but at the same time, she needed to understand she was not a volunteer pet sitter, she is being paid for a job and that she had MY family in her care and I needed to receive regular updates. Despite Bella receiving good care, I probably would not rebook with Kimberly just because of the poor communication.”

“Jennifer has helped watch my dog Sassy several times. Sassy is a border collie and husky mix so she needs a lot of attention and outside time. I am in the military so there are many times that I need to leave for months at a time and Jennifer was able to watch my dog while I was gone. She kept a feeding schedule, made sure my house was not messed up while I was gone, and I haven't had an issue with her at all. I think that she would be a good fit to take care of anyone's pet while they are away.”
