About: I've taken care of dogs (and cats) since I was in high school. Friends, family, neighbors, and others have relied on me to feed, walk, play with, and provide medication and other health management to their pets. I also personally care for my own special needs dog who has Addison's Disease. I just completed my first year working as a Speech Language Pathologist in the school system and would like to keep active and earn additional income by helping take care of others' pets over the summer :) I will do what is necessary to provide the best care possible to your pets and follow any directions you have. I will always ask questions for clarification or if I am unsure about what your pet needs. You know what is best for your pet and I want to ensure that I am providing the best care for them possible.
About: I have grown up around pets my whole life. Currently I have a small Havanese and a cat, but if it were up to me I would have a-lot more! I have previous experience watching my neighbors Basset hound and Rottweiler for weeks at a time while they were on vacation. This consisted of many walks a day, feeding the dogs, picking up poop out of the yard, and staying the night at their house. I also have pet sit for a family with two Yorkies, a Chihuahua and a bunny. One summer I nannied/ dog sat for a family with a toddler and golden doodle three times a week. One unique experience I have is caring for a blind and deaf elderly dog. I had to watch her while she went to the bathroom, carry her up the stairs, feed her separately from the other dogs, and pick her up when she fell. I believe that I can tackle any challenge and give your pets the best care they deserve! I am currently a student with classes in the mid morning. I could let pets out/ dog walk in the morning before class and I am free in the afternoons and able to stay overnight if needed. I would take into consideration my surroundings in a house before taking my eyes off the animal. I don’t plan on watching animals in my own home so I would trust that the owners provide a safe environment for their pets. I would have a meet and greet with the owner and pets prior to watching them to fully understand what the owner expects of me.

I currently work part time with a lot of availability. I’m available at almost any hour of the day. I currently have a cat but he has his own space if tensions were to rise. I have a mid sized unfenced yard, but I know of multiple dog parks. I’m available to cuddle up with animals or wear out some energy!

I’m happy to care for both dogs and cats. *we do have a nice large run in the garage! I do have a personal dog who prefers to keep to herself; however, she will always be safely separated and put away during any pet stays to ensure a calm and secure environment for your pet. I also have kennels available if needed. Ive got lots of room plus a fenced in back yard! Thank you for trusting me with your furry family member — I look forward to caring for them! 😊 **I also have lots of experience working in dog shelters and kennels, so I know a lot! I can pick up in wabash too! I work full time- but can have a routine! My mother in law works at my house as a nanny. So if needed she will always be present. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rolling Hills
We are so grateful for Emma’s services this week! She’s been 100% reliable and great about communicating with us this week when we needed a dog walker for our spunky golden doodle. Emma always gave a thorough report of her time with Suki and when we had to change plans at the last minute due to unexpected snow days, she immediately got back to us to make the necessary changes. 5 stars for Emma! We will definitely call on her again.
