About: I am a huge animal lover ever since I was a child I've cared for pets from guinea pigs to horses however dogs, cats and fishes I had the most experience and absolute companionship. Throughout my life I've had over 5 dogs, 13 cats, 3 turtles and multiple fishes as well as cared for neighbor pets and children while their guardians were in need. I know how to provide pets with their medications, brush their teeth and when to give their needed walks and attention. I keep up with my health and cardio resistance to keep up the fun of helping others and doggy activities. I love to stay active. Most importantly I am happy to be reliable, careful, loving and playful with all animals. I am Full-time and try to provide flexibility as much as possible. In conjunction with moving, hospital visits, flight delays, traffic and unexpected weather conditions I completely understand and choose to prioritize your general safety. Also, in consideration, adjustments and cancelations are to be set for 3 days prior to the booking date. I do charge $10 late fee per hour from scheduled time. I'm currently in a 2 story apartment on the 2nd floor. With 4 bedrooms and a doggie pull out couch. I keep the spacious place very clean and safe. There are no kennels, crates or gates you would have to provide one if necessary. All animals would enjoy the homey atmosphere.

“They where absolutely amazing took her out right on time and where super mindful of our indoor only cats not getting out would recommend again and again”

“Elena is wonderful and I’ve already rebooked with her! She came over to let my rambunctious pup out daily while I was out of town, even bringing along her own dog to get some extra energy out, and made sure to send updates and photos. Ahead of time, she asked really great questions about our dog care preferences, which highlighted her experience and made me feel very comfortable with our first time Rover experience. Highly recommend!”

About: I have been taking care of my neighbors, family, friends, and my own dog/pets for 10 years including walks, feeding, watching, and helping train. I have experience with puppies and older dogs as well as injured or sick dogs. I am currently in a local college for health care. I am free all day Saturday-Monday and after 3 Tuesday-Friday. I have transportation and can drive a reasonable distance. I would follow any rules you have set for your dog (ex. food allowed, walking requirements, type of leash/collar for walks, and if they need to be crated or not) I would be able and willing to provide any medical care needed as long as I am shown how to correctly.

About: I grew up always having a dog. I know how special they can be and the attention they deserve. I'm always happy to help pups get the best care possible. I have many free days to devote to pets. I am available on short notice and always happy to help out to make things easier on your animals. I have experience with dogs that roam the house as well as crate training. I also know how to handle an invisible fence versus a solid one as well as leads.

“It was a pleasure to work with you! We appreciate your time with our fur babies, reliability and great communication. Thank you!”

About: I don’t have any experience with having a dog because my parents never wanted one but I want a dog so bad and will take care of your dog really well! Dogs are just so sweet and happy and I would love to take care of your dog! I have a bunny who acts basically like a puppy, he runs after treats I throw and loves to be petted, I’m just missing that dog in my life! I’d love to have a furry friend that I can take care of even if I don’t own him, but I’ll treat him as if I do and I will take great care of him when you need it and that will take your worries away! I do instacart and doordash so I have my own schedule whenever I want and can work around that since I choose when to work! I won’t take pets to my home, but in your home I will follow your instructions perfectly because I know that a fur baby is family!

About: Spending time with your dog/s will brighten my day! As a dog owner, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I am comfortable with all breeds and personalities, and I treat every pet as if they are my own. I will be sure to offer them the same love, attention, and care I would give my own furry companion. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just some company while you’re away, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I’m a Special Education Teacher and am available on weekends, school breaks, and during the summer. I am flexible and eager to help your pet I have a fenced in yard and am comfortable crating a dog if suggested by the owner. Safety is a priority for me and I will be sure to make sure you’re pet is secure and safe.

About: I’ve always had a love for animals - and especially cats! I grew up volunteering at animal shelters, working to help socialize both cats and dogs to help them get adopted faster. I started formally cat sitting for friends a few years ago, and it has revitalized my love for taking care of animals. It would be a pleasure to help you with your pet fam! I currently work part time in downtown albany. I will mostly be available afternoons and weekends. I love to go on walks or cozy up with my favorite book. I’d love to have a fur baby join me in these activities! In my experience with cat/dog sitting, I am used to preparing meals, cleaning litter boxes, going on walks, changing water, and play time- in addition to never ending head scratches and belly rubs!

About: I've had pets my entire life and have been active in their care since early on. I have personal experience taking care of dogs, cats, bunnies, and rodents throughout my life. I've dog and cat sat (daily check-ins and overnight stays) for several people in my life over the years, including my close friends, coworkers, and bosses. I have recent experience with taking care of and aiding senior pets in their daily routine and have no issue administering medication as instructed by their veterinarians/owners. In addition, I have no issue maintaining consistency in training and providing mental stimulation for younger pets. I know that younger animals are learning and that they need time to process requests. I understand that pets can be unique in their behaviors and that their owners know them best. It's important to me to make sure pets are well taken care of and comfortable in their lives - and that can look different for different pets and owners. I'm a research-focused graduate student with a more flexible schedule than most, so I can visit multiple times throughout the day and night. I have my own car so I can easily travel to clients' homes and have seat-belt attachments to travel with animals in the car as well if the need arrises. I strive to keep things as consistent and predictable as possible, maintaining a pet's schedule as laid out by the owner. I've used a variety of leashes and feeding schedules over the years and find that it really depends on the dog/owner on which one works best. For example, my dog Wiggles likes to graze so she has access to food around the clock, but when I take care of my brother's dogs, they require a more structured feeding schedule that I adhere to for them.

About: I've been involved in dog rescue for over 20 years and often board former foster pups. I give a lot of attention and soft play to minimize the stress of their owners being away. I recently completed a 220 hour veterinary assistant certification. I have a flexible work schedule Monday-Friday which allows me to leave midday for walks, feedings, etc. Weekends are typically wide open. I am available for sunrise and sunset walks at the local golf course or in your neighborhood. I am off for the summers and all school holidays. Pets in my home enjoy lots of exercise and soft play--fetch, tug of war, etc. Dogs that prefer to stay home will have a minimum of 3 visits per day for feeding, exercise and play. For golf course walks, I offer free pickup within two miles of the route from my house to the course.
