About: We're a a couple in our 40s, both working professionals in Montrose. We have five year old daughter and a nine year old chocolate lab mix who are both friendly, energetic, curious and cuddly. We are looking to help out others in the area who need dog care, since we know how difficult it can be to find good reliable people to watch our pup. We live just south of town with four acres and direct access to public land, perfect for dogs to run around and play in. We also are very active and love taking our pup out for hikes, walks, cross country skiing, fetch, swims, and playtime, and would be happy to bring yours along as well. We hope to meet you and your pup soon! While we both work full-time, we do have flexibility for telework, and breaks throughout the day to take your dog out. We are home full time evenings and weekends. We have a friendly dog who is very social to run and play with your dog. We are comfortable walking dogs on or off leash depending on what your dog is comfortable with.

About: I’ve been taking care of homes and animals for nearly 3 years. Whether it’s 3 weeks or just for a weekend I’m happy to make sure your pets are happy and well taken care of. From dogs to goats. I cannot board animals in my home due to HOA restrictions I currently have a full time job and do this on the side. I do what is needed to keep you pets happy and healthy. Even if it means giving up a lunch break to take them on a walk. You can rest assured your home will be taken care of and your pets happy. You will never come back to an unclean home. I do what it takes to make your pets comfortable which includes a home visit with you and your pets to make you and them feel comfortable.

About: I grew up on a ranch in Southern Colorado, where my love for animals began. I am passionate about caring for animals and making them feel loved and comfortable. I have helped find animals their forever homes, volunteered at shelters and am a member of many rescue groups. I have experience caring for puppies to seniors, some that need extra help walking, extra affection due to stress/anxiety and some who are incontinent and need doggy diapers, or who have special needs. I have experience in medication administration and am knowledgeable about all dog stages of life. My home is clean, quiet and relaxing. As a stay at home mom, I can guarantee you peace of mind in knowing that your pets will get a lot of attention, care and love. Please let me know what you and your pet's needs are, and I will do my best to accommodate. As a life long pet owner, your pet will be just as spoiled as mine. They will be able to roam the house freely, are allowed on furniture and always have fresh water. I can provide a lickimat (a grooved mat that encourages the act of licking) that is topped with all natural, organic peanut butter or organic pumpkin to keep your pup satisfied and entertained. I will strictly follow pet owner instructions.

I always go home during lunch to let our dogs out. My lunch varies. Either I go home 11-12, 12-1 or 1-2. I usually have holidays off. My dogs are kennel trained. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to run around. My cats and dogs are friendly and vaccinated. My cats are fixed, our male dogs are not. One of my cats is blind.

Attention to these details are important! (i.e. vet info, trash day, water shut-off, etc...) 🏡 IF staying overnight, all linens, trash, dishes, etc.. will be cleaned and replaced prior to your return! No one wants to clean when they get home from a trip. 🏡 NEVER will I ask to bring my pets or someone else to your home. DOG WALKING: 🐶 Happy to walk BIG or little dogs! They don’t need perfect leash manners. 🐶 Let’s go for a 30 min free “consultation” walk. I will watch for physical injuries, monitor their "excrements" for signs of illness, and watch for conditions across ALL your pets / livestock including: ear infections, pink-eye, bloat, colic, abscesses, UTI's, etc... In addition to keeping an eye on pet health, I take watching for property issues like broken fences, leaking pipes, strange appliance noises, etc… seriously as well! I want to make sure your home is the way you left it, if not better! I’m fine with lengthy ranch routines morning and night. Again if questions arise or illness or injury is suspected in any of your animals --I will reach out with photos right away. I do have experience navigating small & large animal emergencies and react quickly to these situations!

About: I have had pets in my life from the day I was born. Ranging from dogs of all sizes, cats, ferrets, birds, snakes, etc. Many were pets I have or had along with others I cared for friends and family periodically throughout my life. I do work full time. And will accept anything outside of my work schedule. I'm almost always available for all day on weekends and weekday mornings. Dogs will be brought outside to use the bathroom whether in a fenced yard or on a leash. All food and water bowls will be filled and checked per owners instructions. Cats will be kept inside unless otherwise notified by owner. Litterboxes will be scooped out with every visit. All other pets will be provided any care and stimulation under the instruction of the owner.
