“Rebecca was great with Penelope! She was always on time and super responsive and always sent pics during her visit. I will definitely be using her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a walker :)”
About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. For more detailed availability, please see my public calendar https://calendar.app.google/1EpS26QNofEFAmsH7 Your pet's safety is my #1 concern. With that in mind, I will only walk when the weather permits. I will give them time to take care of their business and plenty of play time when the weather does not permit a walk.
“She was great with sending updates of my dog. She also picked up all my dogs toys and put them away for me so the house looked cleaner then I left it after a very long day.”

About: Hi there! My name is Olivia and I am an experienced animal trainer and vet tech. I worked at a clinic for 7+ years as a veterinary technician (including exotics!) and as a trainer and handler in a professional animal studio where I was in charge of animal (and people!) training. Have a special needs dog or one with quirky behaviors? I will work with you and with them. I can give medications, do walks, do short training sessions and will clean up after your pet. I am willing to work with and accomodate all types of dogs and other pets. I can even do some basic training sessions if requested during any visits. I have flexible availability and am able to be there early mornings to late nights to care for your furry friends. Personally, I am used to a multipet household as we have dogs, cats, and chickens. I will water your garden too! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions, I am here for you and your pets! I work a flexible job from home and therefore I am flexible for your needs as well! I am more than happy to accomodate your pets every need! Currently I'm working from home part time with a flexible schedule. I can be available during the day as well as evenings and weekends, depending on the day/week. Unfortunately I'm not able to offer overnight stays at this time. I am happy to walk/let out, play, feed, pet, and just show some love to your beloved pet(s). As someone who has dealt with sick pets, I'm comfortable administering medications, including ones that might require injections.
About: Being an only child I've always had a dog for a companion since I was young. I've had a Husky, German shepherd, and more recently a Labrador and currently a golden retriever puppy. My home never feels complete without a fur baby. Now that I have been fully remote i find myself with too much free time on my hands and Riley is dying to have a play mate. I am fully remote with access to a walking trail and dog park. We hit the trail every 4 hours for potty breaks and some fetch. I live in a quiet apartment so noises are not a problem. I do not sit more than one pet (aside from my dog). I like to keep a keen eye on the mischief.

- 88% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
