They get anxious when we travel, so we knew we needed someone who could stay overnight rather than just stop by — and Ashley was perfect for the job. She gave them so much love and attention, worked around her schedule (only gone briefly during the day), and kept them happy and comfortable the entire time. We left detailed instructions for feeding and medications — our girl takes daily meds, she and her brother take supplements, and all three take allergy pills — and Ashley handled everything with ease. She kept in great communication and sent lots of adorable photos and updates, which gave us such peace of mind. Our home was just as we left it when we returned, and our pups were relaxed and happy. We also appreciated meeting her beforehand to discuss our boys’ personalities and how to prevent any issues, as they can be protective in certain situations. Finding someone confident and comfortable with big dogs, especially Pit Bulls, isn’t easy — but Ashley made it look effortless. About: For as long as I can remember I’ve loved and been around animals. I grew up with Boston terriers and frenchies and have loved every minute. I am so passionate about all things animals. I grew up volunteering at my local vet and farm any opportunity I had. In high school, I worked primarily caring for horses and dogs. In school I studied animal science (large, small, and vet science). Since graduating high school I’ve found a passion for dog grooming. I’ve been in the grooming world for about a year and a half now. I’m currently working as a groomer. I’m finding I am really good at and enjoy working with seniors and puppies. I have a Boston terrier of my own and she is my world. I’m working as a certified dog groomer currently. In brief, I live, laugh, love dogs or eat sleep breathe dog hair, but I love it. I’m very familiar with most common ailments. I’m safety certified. In my personal home, my dog’s bowl is cleaned every other day if not every day, she’s fed fresh food and filtered water, she is walked daily, and probably has a million toys she’ll never even touch. I would truly do anything for my dog and anytime I’m entrusted with anyone else’s dog whether it be at work or at home or wherever I hold myself to that same standard of care.
