About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always had a huge love for animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for many different breeds and sizes, from Chihuahuas to Dobermans and everything in between. I’m a passionate animal lover and advocate, and I’ve also fostered dogs through rescues. Fostering has given me a special place in my heart for fearful, shy, anxious, and misunderstood dogs. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and comfort level, and I believe in giving them patience, kindness, and time to feel safe. As a registered nurse, I’m comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions. I’m also comfortable with bathing and basic grooming needs. Most importantly, I genuinely love being around dogs. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their family is away. 🐾❤️ I’m a registered nurse and work 12-hour shifts, typically 2 days per week and every other weekend. On my weekends off, I have 5 days off in a row, which is when I’m available for boarding. My availability is therefore every other week, making me a great fit for families looking for care during weekend getaways, short trips, or extended weekends. I provide a safe, loving, home-based environment where dogs can feel comfortable and cared for while their families are away. I have a large fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time and play, and I keep the number of boarding dogs limited so each dog receives plenty of individual attention. As a registered nurse, I’m attentive to changes in behavior and comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications, and responding appropriately if an unexpected situation arises. I also have experience and knowledge in canine CPR and emergency first aid. I take the time to learn each dog’s personality, routine, feeding schedule, medications, and comfort level before their stay. I have a special soft spot for fearful and anxious dogs and believe patience and a calm environment are essential.

About: I have had poodles, labs, chows, eight Great Danes. I take care of of my nieces three dogs when she is out of town. During Christmas Hoilday the out of town guest just bring their dogs, 4 acre lot. Involuntarily retired, I spend my days piddling on projects around the house and working on excessively old cars. Dogs have always liked me and I have always liked dogs. Dogs get feed twice a day. I have an invisible fence system. Giving pills during meal time is not an issue. I do have creates. I generally do not give treats.

About: My family had two aging beagles I helped care for that eventually passed away. They both required much attention and medication. Any time my family members or friends need someone to watch their dog, they ask me. I have experience working with smaller sized dogs and much bigger dogs. I have also worked at a humane society. I just graduated from grad school so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur babies and will make sure they are happy and healthy! I will make sure they go to the bathroom regularly, make sure they get plenty of exercise/walks, make sure they are well fed, and make sure they are overall safe and comfortable. It is my job to make sure your fur baby is happy! If using boarding services, my apartment complex is very pet friendly and has a great dog park!

About: I have lived on a farm all of my life and started house sitting during middle and high school. I also have over 6 years of training experience. I have a short part time job that allows me to be home most of the day. Dogs have plenty of playtime outside as well as free time inside when earned. I live far from traffic. I have a fenced area and wide places to run. We have farm pastures that offer boundaries and if a dog has a good recall we can play in the front and side area.

Drop in visits/walks - I work from home M-F 8-5. I typically can do my drop-in visits in the early morning, on my lunch break, and evenings after work. I can be flexible, though if another time is needed. Just let me know! House sitting - House sitting is similar to my drop-in visits. Breakfast/potty in the morning, lunchtime potty break, and then I'll head to your home after work to spend the evening/overnight with your pet. Please note, I do have a dog of my own who would likely come with me in the evenings for overnight. She is crate/potty trained and always looking for a new friend to play with - even cats! (i have two cats of my own that she grew up with). If you would prefer my dog to not come, thats ok too. Please allow the flexibility to go back and forth to ensure she can potty as well. Boarding - As mentioned above, I do work from home. If you'd like your pet to stay at my home, I can ensure they have consistent, around-the-clock care. I do have a two-story home with baby gates throughout and four bedrooms. If you'd like your pet not to interact with mine, that can be arranged. I treat every pet like family—because they are!
