About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. My father has owned and operated a dog training/boarding business for over 14 years, and I grew up helping him with the daily care and responsibilities that come with working with dogs. I currently work part time as a kennel technician at Hickory Small Animal Hospital in Ponchatoula, where I help care for pets staying in the boarding facility. This experience has made me comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and individual needs. I also have extensive experience with horses and regularly help care for horses and assist with barn responsibilities for several owners. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets. I strive to provide dependable, attentive, and loving care while making sure every animal feels safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I am a college student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to make pet care a priority. I also work part time, but I am able to plan my schedule around bookings and make sure each pet gets the time, attention, and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can safely play and get plenty of outside time. I also have a friendly dog of my own who can provide some company and playtime! I am always happy to follow each owner’s preferences and routines to make sure their pet feels as comfortable and at home as possible.
About: Hi everyone! My name is Grace! I am 25 years old and I am a Registered Nurse at St Tammany Parish Hospital, where I have worked for the past three years. I have my CPR certification for people as well as knowledge of CPR for animals. I have volunteered at the Northshore Humane Society and have always loved helping my friends and family with their animals. With Rover, my goal is to take care of as many animals as I can via pet sitting and dog walking! My love for animals extends to another level due my family members’ allergies as I grew up, causing me to not be able to have a pet growing up. About: I have had dogs my whole life. I frequently watch dogs for family, friends and co workers. Any dog I meet instantly becomes an extended part of my family and is treated with love, care and respect. Safety of the animal is a priority for me above all. I am currently in the military and work as a healthcare provider. I have 2 hour lunches between 11-1pm and leave fro work at approximately 7 am returning at 5 pm. I can be flexible on some of those hours as needed. I have a fenced patio with a potty area. There is also a walkway through the housing area that has grass available. Plenty of toys. There are cameras in the house and outside as well as a safety gate in front of the back gate to ensure no accidental escapes! Dogs are always monitored. If I am not home my personal pets are placed in my bedroom and any visitors get free reign of the living room. I have a kennel should a dog require kenneling when I am not home or if they kennel at night. Food times are 7 am and 5 pm. I do not do free feeding due to my dog having allergies. Water bowl is checked daily. Plenty of toys for everyone!
About: I’ve been taking care of my animals and others’ animals from a young age. I have a range of experience- with puppies and kittens, administering medication, unique personalities, special needs, and more. Whether its a high energy dog or a nervous and shy cat or anything in between, I have seen it all! I am flexible and willing to help in any way I can! Currently not boarding at the moment since I am moving into a new space soon. I can go home for lunch during the week and am free all evenings and weekends. Since I am in the process of moving to a new space, I am not boarding at the moment. I am usually available for boarding on weeknights after 4p and full days on the weekends. Your pet is my priority whether I am at your place or mine. When staying at your place, I will always try to leave it neater than when I came across it. Whether its replacing batteries in your ring camera or letting the service man come in, I am available to help you in anyway you need when something unexpected occurs while you're out. Any animals staying at my home are made to feel comfortable and safe; my home becomes their home!

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
