About: I’ve been surrounded by furry friends since I was young. I’m trusted by friends and family to take care of their pets while they travel or figure out life changes. I’m diligent about brushing, cleaning and snuggling-whatever your pup needs, I’m on it! I currently work full time from 9AM-5PM on a four day schedule. In the early morning’s and evenings I am available for walks, play time, training reinforcement, as well as clean up and any additional help needed while you’re away. During the weekends- I’m available all day Saturday-Mondays for walks and plenty of enrichment time! I have a highly energetic dog to keep your pet company! If your pet does not do well with other animals, I am happy to accommodate as needed. With plenty of parks and hikes in the area, I can assure you we’ll take plenty of walks. I will crate your pet if needed for their own safety.
“Danielle was super kind and attentive with our pups. Aside from being a reliable sitter, she was extremely flexible and friendly with her service. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone I know.”

“Awesome experience. My kitty Waffles is a shy, scared kitty around new people and has taken him days to interact with new people. Brittany got Waffles to interacts with her within a day and even seemed to be playful with her. I highly recommend Brittany and i will be using her again when i have the need.”

“Exceptional! First time I’ve left my animals with someone “not family “ and was pleasantly surprised. They loved her. She made everyone feel comfortable, cared for, spoiled and safe. Highly recommended from here!”

About: Working in veterinary medicine, I can understand basic animal needs and care. I have been taking care of animals for over 10 years. I will treat your babies like they are my own I work two jobs, both in opposite directions, so to be able to housesit. And given a good amount of time to request days off to give your baby my full attention I prefer housesitting over boarding at my personal home, it’s easier for me, and I feel like the pets would prefer their own home over anyone elses
“Abigail helped me on short notice in an emergency situation and was able to take over care when another sitter didn’t show. She did an incredible job giving updates, following care instructions, and loving on the cats. She left the home better than she found it and her deep care for animals is evident in both her words and her actions!”

About: I've had the pleasure of caring for and raising a variety of pets, from rabbits to lizards, to cats and dogs. When it comes to pet care, my special skills are really special values: patience and compassion. Patience allows me to develop meaningful bonds with pets in my care, and compassion gives me the insight to understand that our pets are family, and should be treated as such. I'm a teacher and have the summer available for the next several weeks. My summer availability is open. Once the school year begins, I'll be available evenings and weekends. At home, I care for my own cat, Buddy, by prioritizing her physical and emotional needs. This would include following established feeding, walking, playtime, medication and bathing routines. I would tend to emotional needs with ample attetntion and affection, based on the pet's comfort level and needs. Ultimately, I would care for my clients' pets the same way I care for my own cat.
“Sara was wonderful!! This is as the first time leaving our 3yr old very anxious yorkie. We were very nervous pet parents and had a very long list of directions for our baby and home. Sara didn’t mind at all and was very understanding of our needs. Sara stayed with her the whole time did everything we asked. We came home to a clean home and happy dog. We are definitely grateful that we have someone to watch our dog for future events. Thanks so much Sara”

“We are so lucky we found Tiffany. We can now be assured our beloved Milo is receiving excellent care whenever she sits him. She does a great job both in taking care of him and communicating that to us. She is very professional and caring at the same time. No disappointment with her what so ever. This is the second time she helps us and there will be many more.”

“Kimberly was so good with our little cat! She was so kind and took great care of our home and fur baby! She even gave our cat who doesn’t isn’t good with medication her meds twice a day and sent us pics of our baby while we were on vacation! Will absolutely be booking with her again!”

Specialized Pet Care Expertise Emergency & Critical Care Experience: Having worked in emergency medicine and supervised overnight shifts, I am trained to remain calm under pressure and identify subtle clinical signs of distress before they become crises. Home & Play Space: I live on 3 acres of property, providing a massive, secure space for plenty of outdoor play and enrichment. Personal Experience: I am a dedicated pet owner myself, caring for my own dogs and cats. Flexible Relief Shifts: I utilize the Roo platform for veterinary technician relief shifts, which allows me to balance clinical work with dedicated pet sitting. My approach to safety and environment is rooted in professional clinical standards and a deep commitment to the emotional well-being of every animal. Whether I am providing care in your home or welcoming a pet to mine, my goal is to create a secure, low-stress atmosphere where health and happiness are the top priorities. I take pride in deep-cleaning litter boxes and keeping pet areas pristine, as a clean environment is essential for disease prevention and overall comfort. About: Are you looking for someone in Florida to care for your beloved fur baby? You’ve come to the right place! As a lifelong animal lover and professional animal caretaker, I’m here to give your pet the love and attention they deserve. Whether you need a dependable helping hand or a new friend for your pet, I’d be more than happy to help. Just reach out, and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible! I’m currently working full-time but I’ll still have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! Feel free to reach out, and I’ll be happy to share my schedule for the week. I provide an open space for dogs to roam freely, including both the living room and garage. However, I do require that you bring a crate for your dog. “We have two senior dogs (15 and 11) and we were very nervous and hesitant to board them during our summer vacation. We initially booked them for boarding at a local daycare but didn’t feel comfortable. We were about to cancel our trip a week before, but Jeanna was an answered prayer! I found her profile on Rover on a whim and after reading her great reviews and checking her profile I decided to see if she would be available. After inquiring, she quickly responded, scheduled a phone interview an hour later and even offered a second meet and greet just to calm our nerves and get acquainted with our dogs and family. She was very professional, calm, honest, responsible and genuine. Our dogs were very comfortable with her within minutes of meeting her. We booked her for house sitting for 10 days and are so glad and relieved to have found her! On the day we were to travel, our flight was delayed and she was very flexible coming to our home when we needed her to. During our vacation, she eased our anxiety and we felt at peace as she constantly updated us daily with pictures and reports on how they were doing, eating and sleeping. She also updated the dogs letting them know when we were coming home. Our dogs felt right at home, even though they missed us! Jeanna took amazing care of our senior dogs with medication, food, water and play time. She also took great care of our home while we were away and left the place just like we left it. She gave great care, affection and love for our dogs and Chloe our youngest is already missing her!! We highly recommend booking Jeanna for your pets and can’t wait to book her again for our next vacation! Thank you for everything!”
“Adreana was great with my precious Brit. She had much patience with Brit . She took great care of her. I so highly recommend her services with pets. Will definitely have Adreana sit my Brit again soon ?”

“Our dogs loved their time with Gisselle! She gave us peace of mind at the theme parks knowing they were well cared for. She send lots of photos and videos and keeps you updated on what they are doing. We would highly recommend her and hope she is available for our next trip.”
“Cathy did a great job with our dogs this weekend. Moose is extremely timid and even afraid of new people, but Cathy was patient and did her best to make sure he was comfortable and happy. She communicated with us well, sent pictures and left our house clean and tidy.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 239 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across River Ranch. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred River Ranch walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in River Ranch maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in River Ranch choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in River Ranch. On Rover:
- 100% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 70% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
