“My wife and I appreciated the photos and check ins letting us know the dogs were doing well in our absence. Very satisfied with our choice to hire Stephen & Angela to watch our fur babies.”
“Our Goldendoodles were well taken care of and seemed to have a great time! Lots of pictures and updates so we always knew what was going on. Would definitely leave them here again!”
“Dan went above and beyond for our girl! She sent daily videos and picture updates. Her children loved on her. She also got daily walks/adventures. We will definitely book with Dan again 💗.”
“I felt so comfortable knowing that Megan was caring for my girls while we were on vacation! We even had some cute pics to enjoy showing that they were having a great time.”
“I’ve usedthis app a few times before and I was most pleased with Carla! It’s not easy to take care of a 4 month old lab and she’s did it with grace. She updated me with pictures and even requested to meet beforehand to ensure Wyatt got along with her dog! Wyatt was so tired when we got home, which is rare with his energy level! I felt so comfortable know he was with her. Would definitely recommend”
“Angela made Sophie one of her family for over two weeks. She sent lots of pictures every day and it was obvious Sophie felt at home. We were afraid she might not want to come home.”
“Jian was the answer to our prayers. Not only did she take excellent care of Louis she constantly updated us with sweet texts and pictures. I couldn’t have found anyone better. I would be very happy to have her care for Louis again. I honestly cannot say enough great things about her. She was excellent”
“Chris was amazing!! I have very recently gotten a new one year old English Bulldog, Louie, with my fiancé, Jay. We wanted to have a weekend away to celebrate Jay's 30th birthday. Last minute, as in the night before at 8pm, realized our previous plan to keep Louie at a vet boarding program was not going to workout. It was my first time using Rover so I was nervous. But Chris was very responsive and helpful. He was super accommodating for having such last minute plans and made the whole process easy. Jay and I enjoyed our night away and Louie had a great vacation weekend at Chris's house. Louie loved playing with Chris's puppy Luna all day and can't wait to go back to hangout with his new playmate! Thank you again Chris!”
“Once again Courtney and her sweet family made Beckley their own during her time with them for over a week! She is safe, loved, and cared for in their home and Beckley knows the routine after so many years with time spent at her “vacay” family home”
“Was great to my dog sent photo update and was flexible with my pickup time when I had a family emergency. You can tell she really cares for the animals she's watching”
“Mariah took great care of Edison Photos and updates regularly. Especially enjoyed the video that we sent of Edison playing with her dogs. Lots of exercise and outdoor playtime in their fenced and backyard.”
“Alyssa was awesome! Her and her kiddos welcomed Zorro with open arms! She kept me posted on how he was doing and out my mind at ease during his stay. Thanks Alyssa, I will definitely be rebooking for any future needs!”
“Daphne was wonderful! She took Lola as a last minute booking and we couldn't be happier! We received daily picture updates. Lola was treated like a little princess with lots of love! 🩷 Highly recommend Daphne!”
“Robin took very good care of our two dogs during our overnight trip! Fantastic communication and organization and very caring toward our pups! We will certainly hire her again!”
“Heather recently watched our 4 month old puppy. She was very prompt on responding to any questions or concerns we had and was great being flexible when we had to change a date due to a work conflict. She provided us with picture updates and very our dog lots of attention and outdoor playtime. She did an amazing job and we will definitely be reaching out to her for future dates!”
“Great experience with Daniel and his family. Leia, my dog, is extremely energetic, and she got along well with Diesel and was able to get plenty of play time outside. When I picked her up, she was well exercised, which is always a relief! I hope to leave Leia with Daniel again.”
“Haley absolutely saved our life with a VERY last minute booking. She was super responsive, updated with photos, and was super close which made it the easiest experience possible. Cannot rave about her enough!!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
