“Michael came over to our house 2 times a day to feed our 2 Rottie shepherd mixes and let them out to use the bathroom. Him and his family were so great with the dogs! Our dogs are incredibly happy and looked like they had the best time ever in every pic! Michael came over in advance to meet the puppies and get an idea of what we needed, which I really appreciated! We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our babies. She seems very knowledgeable about cats. I appreciated her daily photos of the cats (and the empty food bowl!). She was always on time and did a great job. About: I have loved and taken care of dogs all my life. I’ve had dogs from puppies to seniors and understand how to care to all their needs. Along with that I take the time to really get to know each dog on their own and establish a connection so that each party is happy. I currently work a full time job. However I work from home so that allows me to be flexible with my time and always there to attend to the dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a dog of my own to give your fur baby’s company. The dogs can free roam around the house but I’ll always make sure I can see them. If preferred to be caged that is also possible.

At home, I spend quality time with my miniature Labradoodle, Lilly, playing with toys indoors and tossing balls outside, and we go on walks every day. When dog sitting, I tailor the activity to each dog’s needs—whether it’s an energetic puppy who loves extended walks or an older dog who prefers a shorter, gentle stroll. For in-home pet care, I ensure the dog is always comfortable, safe, and happy in their familiar environment. If I notice anything unusual in their behavior, appetite, or overall health, I immediately contact the owner to confirm whether it’s part of their typical routine or something that needs attention. About: Hi! My name is Joan. I am recently retired and live on a farm. I have had dogs most of my life and have felt the passion to start dog sitting after losing our 15 yr old beloved dog fairly recently. I sure miss having furry four legged ones around to share my love for dogs, and want to be able to love on yours as I would my own. Having used Rover many times in the past for our own dog over the years, I know how very important it is to find someone you know you can trust to love & care for your pup, that perfect place that you won’t have to worry about them while you hoomans are away, that would be Me! I live on a farm with lots of acreage for running and playing. I also have experience with administering medications if needed. I want to make a worry free home away from home experience for your best friend(s) while mom & dad are away. With being retired, and pretty much a homebody, I will make sure that I will be home at all times to care for your pup. Potty breaks and play time will be frequent, with living on a farm we will be sure and have plenty of walking and running space for your pup. I live on a tucked off the road farm with plenty of acreage to run and play. Our farm is not a working farm, meaning we have no farm animals on the property. I have never crated any of my dogs, therefore I would not be crating yours unless of course you ask me to and provide the crate.
