“This was the first time that we have used rover to board our dog while on vacation, and we were incredibly pleased with the care provided to him by Johanny. Our dog (Benny) was just diagnosed as being hypothyroid and was dealing with many different associated conditions that required medicines and a lot of extra care. This was why we decided to try Rover rather than just boarding him at a kennel. Johanny was available at late notice and was amazing with Benny. We received pictures each day and she had no trouble administering all the medications. He was healthy when we returned and we are incredibly grateful for the care that she provided. We will DEFINITELY be using her again in the future.”

We did a meet and greet the next day where Mike explained everything in detail and answered any questions that I had. My dog tends to be very shy at first, but he warmed up to Mike very quickly! About: I've owned three dogs in the past 20 years. A greyhound (rescue), a border collie/retriever mix (rescue) and a chihuahua. Each one unique in their personality, energy level and needs, giving me a broad understanding of dog care. I recently retired and can't think of a better way to spend some of my free time, than with pups. I'm available M-F, and we could probably negotiate some weekends if needed. I love taking dogs for walks. We frequently walked our dogs at Kolapechka park and utilized the dog play areas. I could do the same for yours. Open to broadening my services to include overnight stays in my home once a bond/trust is developed between myself and your pet.

What attracted my attention at the beginning was Scott’s long term experience of taking care of dogs and turned a rescued dog into a therapy dog. During meet and greet, Scott was transparent and he told me his life stories particularly with dogs by showing many pictures. He missed his last dog Jack very much. He also patiently learned my dog’s behavior in order to make my dog being less stressful and comfortable during boarding. He was willing to make changes to accommodate my dog’s behavior and he prepared well before I dropped off my dog. He updated me at least once a day with multiple pictures. I could see my dog was happy, playful and tired. When I picked up my dog, Scott reviewed details with me what happened during my dog’s stay. I highly recommend Scott being your dog sitter. “Joan was a great sitter for our baby, Nimer. I loved receiving daily updates on how he was doing as well as pictures and videos. We chose the boarding option, and Nimer had the best time at Joan's house, sleeping on her bed, playing in the cat tunnels, and climbing the cat trees. He also got along so well with her ferrets! Her house is free of any harmful products and is a safe space for just about any pet. Nimer will definitely be coming back when we go on our next trip. Highly recommend!”
