“Rochelle did a great job of looking after Coco! She has created an environment that any dog would love. Coco had an experience and we would definitely use her again.”

“Darlynh is the best and I'll recommend her over and over. She sent me pictures to see how my buddy was doing. Cooper was shy initially and, I felt bad leaving him. But before I made it home, I received a picture of him all settled in and comfortable. If I could give her 10 stars, I would.”

“Patrick and Claudette are so sweet and did a wonderful job watching our two puppies. They kept us informed every day about how they are doing. You can tell that they have a real gift for caring for our dogs. I will definitely use them again.”

“Anthony and family were a great choice for us! We were blessed to have them for our first time using Rover.com. They sent us frequent pics and updates which helped make our trip more relaxed. Thank you Anthony and family for all you did!”

“Nancy and her husband Scott are the nicest most caring couple! We always know our Gumbo is in good hands when he is there. They send multiple photos and videos and make us feel so comfortable. Gumbo comes home happy and sleepy from all his play time. I am a very happy repeat client !”
About: From farm and ranch to pet boarding facilities, I've pretty much done it all. I have lots of experience with just about every pet there is, including seniors and bottle babies. I treat each one like my own and love them like family. From the energetic and active, to the timid and shy, I make sure they feel safe, loved and comfortable while you're away. I know how important trust is when someone is caring for your beloved family member and my goal is for you to enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is happy and genuinely cared for. I have my own small farm so animal care is a daily activity for me. The more to care for the merrier! I am off every Friday and through the weekend, so weekends are spent loving on the fur babies. I work with your preferences on crating and care. I have a large fenced yard and a smaller fenced area for puppies, seniors or small dogs.
“Sheila is amazing! We have booked with her multiple times for the last few years now. She’s the only sitter I want to leave my boys with. I have no doubt my fur babies will be safe and taken care of. She provides details about their stay and behavior. We appreciate her very much.”

“This was our first time with Blair. Actually, our first time using Rover or any other boarder. Cassie, a 14 month old Havapoo, has always stayed at the house while we were gone and a house sitter stayed with her. I believe this was a good experience for her and us. Blair kept us informed on how Cassie was doing. And when we picked Cassie up, she was happy and looked great. Blair provided feedback on how Cassie did and seemed to really enjoy having our little girl stay with them.”

“Jill was very easy to work with! She took extra care of our dog over the 4th of July weekend. She was very accommodating with our schedule & we are very grateful for her! Will definitely use Jill again!”

“I’ve used a couple different people on Rover to watch my dog Goose and Dayna is by far my favorite. She treated my boy like he was hers and I’m pretty sure he would rather i don’t pick him up from her lol. Anytime I go out of town I will definitely be using Dayna again.”

“Julie was an amazing sitter. Her two awesome kids help keep the dog happy and gave lots of attention. She will be our go-to from now on. She also left lots of updates for us and sent us pictures which was a big deal. Thank you so much and I definitely recommend Julie”

“Our dog, Jet, can be a handful and he is very particular about new people. Lauren and Justin were very accommodating. It was clear they had lots of experience with dogs and we not intimidated by him! Jet also got along well with their two fur babies! We are already planning a second time when they will be sitting Jet. We’re so thrilled he found a safe and loving home away from home!”

“My dogs had a great stay with Trudie. I got daily updates and pics/video of the dogs. When I picked up the dogs they were happy and looked like they had a good time. Will definitely book again.”

“Shawndra was a great sitter for Luka. He really liked her and I was pleased everything went good. It was one less thing I needed to worry about while I was away. She was the best and the communication was top tier”

“As always Natalia and her family were amazing with our dogs. One dog developed an infection from a surgery he’d had a couple of weeks before and they helped me with taking him to the emergency vet and helping with his medication. My dogs come home so happy and relaxed after playing with their dogs and being spoiled with hugs. I can’t recommend Natalia enough. Thank you!”

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
