They feel safer and it’s more welcoming for I the sitter to take it day by day scenario because sometimes you never know what you’re walking into. I am not currently taking any pets into my home due to renting and not owning my own home right now. I want to provide them the best service if kept in my home and that is not an option at the moment until changed otherwise. I listen clearly and follow directions closely! Our roommate also works at a vet hospital and is currently in school to get her vet tech degree. She works 5 minutes from the house and comes home on lunch breaks to let the dogs outside so they never go more than 4 hours at a time during the work week without a potty break. I am off on weekends so I’ll be home with them majority of the time on weekends as well. I have a fenced in yard, plus 3 dogs myself that love to meet new friends and play. I always make sure the dog has the same feeding routine they do when you are home. I try not to change up their normal routine so that the stay is as stress free as possible for your dog.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 12 years old. I have more experience with dogs but I love cats too. I have pet sitted for family and friends and consider pets to be part of the family. I will treat yours as my own. I work full time and I am currently a student as well. I am available on the weekends any time and weekday afternoons after 5pm. I have a dauchsund mix who is currently the only child. She attends daycare and although she is shy she gets along great with other dogs. We just bought our first home and do not have a fenced in yard yet. I do not feel comfortable having any pets over for pet sitting until I have a fully fenced in yard but I am happy to house sit or walk your fur baby whenever you need me.

About: I am 34 years old and have always been the family and extended family go to dog/cat/house sitter my whole life. After getting a sociology bachelors degree I spent several years working in both the legal and healthcare fields. While the healthcare field was a much closer fit because of the empathy I was allowed to show neither of these ever felt right to me. In five years I hope to be an experienced vet tech caring for the thing I love the most; our pets. I have a senior dog of 10 years named Rogue who is a pit bull and boxer mix. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, I’ve been a pet sitter for a very long time, I love love animals. I have 5 dogs and 8 cats myself and love them all dearly. About: I've handled several kinds of pets. All alive. All happy. Anxious pets specifically seem to find me calming. I choose not to read into that. I work part-time, which I've chosen to frame as a lifestyle rather than a circumstance. It means I'm available, present, and not rushing out the door at 8 am. I also run and exercise more than the average person, which your dog will either love or deeply regret. Cats will not be dragged on runs. I want to be clear about that. Every pet gets what they actually need: exercise, rest, attention, or all three. I show up ready for any of it. Animals in my care get two things without exception: safety and attention. Not the performative kind. The actual kind. I follow routines because pets care about routines more than people do. I respect their space because they live there, and I'm a visitor. I don't cut corners because the corners matter. Your pet can't tell you how it went. I make sure they wouldn't have any complaints if they could.

About: My family has had a dog for over 5 years since she was a puppy, so I’m no stranger to crazy puppies, accidents, and training. I love going on daily walks with my dog and wrestling on the carpet with her. I have cared for a few neighbors dogs in high school in parents house. We practiced some tricks with them to help with a smoother dog sitting experience. I love teaching my dog tricks and am currently working on rolling over. I love being outside and dogs make it even more fun. I am working part time currently. My shifts vary throughout the week either from 10-3pm or 3-7pm. I also have church from 9-11 each Sunday. I spent many weekends in middle and high school babysitting and am no stranger to keeping homes tidy while clients are away. I always made sure dishes were done, toys put away, floors swept, etc. I will keep any home I care for pets in better than I found it, I would want the same for me in my clients shoes. I can crate a pet and be authoritative to make sure your pet follows the boundaries you set. I am no stranger to teaching my dog to stay off the couch.
