About: I have loved and cared for animals all my life and would welcome the opportunity to give love and attention to your fur baby or babies! My own pets are my boy Titus, a 10-year-old Shih-tzu; 5 sweet guinea pigs; and 6 exotic finches. I am passionate about all animals. I recognize that our domestic friends rely on and thrive on routine and that for some, your absence or even my presence, might be stressful, so I try to keep things calm and do a lot of reassuring in the beginning. Same goes in my house where they are in unfamiliar surroundings. I tend to schedule my routine around my own pets’ needs and daily care. When I’ve committed to caring for someone else’s pet, whether drop-ins or in my home, my personal schedule gets altered so I can focus on their care. Caring for pets is personalized to meet their individual needs based on clients’ instructions. There is a lot of intuitive care as well, recognizing changes in behavior or signs a pet needs something additional, to go out again, more affection or reassurance. I also make sure things are neat and tidy in a client’s home, sweeping cat litter for instance.

I am a 40-year breeder of top-quality, AKC pups and am very particular about their care. There were complications with the puppies and Yulissa was able to assist in performing the needed care required for their survival. She learned fast, followed directions well, and always had willing, helpful attitude. Several times she took a puppy to the vets for me. Yulissa was very good with the mother and her pups. She enjoyed playing with the pups in the yard and taking them for walks around the property. She possesses the skills and confidence required for appropriate and caring dog management after working with an experienced dog breeder and trainer for 3 months.”

About: • I have extensive experience with special needs dogs as a result of growing up with my family dog who suffered from epilepsy. I am also very familiar and knowledgeable about the basic needs that every dog requires (providing food/water, changing water frequently, potty breaks, attention, love, walks, brushing, playing, etc.). • I consider animals to be the best part of life and I have a passion for them. I'm at my happiest when I have the opportunity to be in the presence of an animal. My pets are very precious to me and I consider them my best friends, so I'll treat your pets as if they were my own and give them all the love and attention they deserve! I can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)! I currently work full time Monday through Friday from, 10am to 6pm in the Lansing. Outside of that, I can walk your dog, and am also Tupi ally While watching your pet, I will keep up with their usual routine or schedule and follow whatever instructions you provide. I will let them out as often as they’d like to go out and spend my time helping them to feel comfortable, happy, and loved. I’ll be sure to provide them with lots of love, pets, and attention! I will also send plenty of pictures and updates so you can check in on your babies while you’re away!
