About: I’m an animal lover who’s happiest when I’m outside walking, running, or biking and I love having a furry buddy join me for the adventure. I grew up with four dogs, so barking, potty breaks, and a little (okay, a lot of) dog hair are just part of life for me. From a young age, I learned how to keep pups happy, safe, and entertained, and that’s stuck with me ever since. Your dog’s needs always come first with me whether that’s playtime, snuggles, or just a nice chill nap in the sun. I’ve got a soft spot for every kind of dog, even the grumpy ones, and I’ll never say no to a good cuddle session. About: I've been caring for animals my whole life; I grew up on a farm with 15 horses, many chickens, goats, and of course lots of cats & dogs. I've been professionally caring for animals since 2011 where I worked as a vet tech specializing in rehabilitating competition horses. I have the perfect property for playing with large groups of dogs with a lot of fenced-in land. I work from home, and I spend most of my weekends working on projects around the property, making both my weekdays & weekends perfect for dog sitting. I have a double-doggy-door system; the first doggy door in the kitchen leads to the screened-in back patio, then the 2nd doggy door goes from the patio to the fenced-in back yard so dogs can go use the bathroom whenever they need. I take frequent breaks from my computer and play with the doggo’s! I live on a peaceful 6-acre property off a dirt road surrounded by cow and horse farms. 1-acre is fenced in off the house just for the dogs - with beautiful oak & pine trees that provide a lot of shade. The screened-in back patio has carpeting, dog beds, & fans. Inside the home, there are extra dog beds & toys in every room. I have a senior female dog who mostly keeps to herself, and a very loving and energetic girl who will play endlessly with any dog of any size. I have an in-&-out cat that has his own space. I frequently watch dogs that are not friendly with cats since I can keep everyone separated if need be.

I am that dog mom that has as much separation anxiety, as my dogs usually do when I leave them. When I left them at Michael’s, I knew they had already made a new friend. Michael sent me several pics through the stay and it was obvious that both pups had already made themselves right at home. When I arrived to pick them up, they were not anxious to leave and kept going back to Michael to be petted. About: We are a recently retired couple with 50 years combined experience raising children with a variety of pets. Now we have a loving, playful rescue dog that gets our full time attention. We are home all the time. We also engage and play with our pets all the time. We have plenty of toys to keep them amused too. Our large back yard is fully fenced and safe and clean at all times.
