“Pamela is great! She is punctual and our kitty loves her! She communicates regularly. She even went the extra mile and replaced the batteries in our touch-activated faucet. Thanks Pamela!”

“Lilac has really taken the time to bond with our pets. Always goes above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable and keeps us completely informed. She also sends the cutest pics of our babies from every visit!”

“Ms. Medea provided an excellent service for my dogs. They thoroughly enjoyed their time with her during their visit and walk. I felt at ease knowing that Ms. Medea has experience with active dogs, which was a significant factor in my decision to choose her services.”

“This was the third time we hired Caitlin to come take care of our pup while we were away. It was also our longest trip yet as we were away from home for over a week. I never feel like I can fully express how amazing Caitlin is and how grateful we are to have found her. We really hate leaving our dog and before finding Caitlin, we never had before. Finding someone you can truly trust is so important and Caitlin is that person! She goes above and beyond in every aspect of her job. Each time we work with her, we are left more impressed than the time before. And I don’t even know how that is possible because I was about as impressed as I could be the first time we worked with her. She is an excellent communicator which is such a blessing when you’re away. She writes in extraordinary detail about every aspect of her visits and also includes an abundance of photos so you feel like you are there. Seeing my pup so happy while we were away gave me such peace of mind. She’s not afraid to reach out with questions if something comes up. This time in particular, our area had snow and crazy weather and Caitlin went so above and beyond to communicate to us what was happening and then made a game plan to physically get to our pup when it looked like driving conditions could be unsafe. Her love of animals is so evident and yet she’s a people person too! She is really one of a kind. Thank you, Caitlin, for taking care of Echo and making traveling so easy for us!”

About: I used to pet sit often, however, since getting my own dog I have scaled back. My friends tell me I treat their pets like my own which I watch them and they love that I pay attention to detail and send updates. I have an elderly dog who is dog reactive, so I have taking dog training classes and learned a lot about how to meet her needs! Excited to learn about what care your dog needs and help them feel safe and cared for! I work remotely, so I’d like to make myself available to help you out during the day with quick drop ins, short walks and potty breaks! My dog is trained with positive reinforcement based methods. She is an older dog with medication requirements and I understand the extra care and play restrictions they can have! Whether it’s creating a quick interactive puzzle game or playing gently in the backyard, happy to help your dog get some attention during the day!

“Katie was the perfect choice for checking in on our 5 month old pup! She was attentive and intentional to maintain our training requests when feeding and walking him. She also stayed the full hour as requested to feed and play with Benji. We will definitely book again as needed!”

“Savannah did a great job taking care of my kitties while I was away visiting family. She played with them and loved on them and kept everything very clean! Would recommend and would use her services again!”

About: Every day is a day full of fur in my world. My pets, and the pets I care for as an experienced veterinary technician. I love every animal like they are my own and always go the extra mile for their happiness. I am honored to be entrusted with their care if you will have me. I am currently taking a break from my career as a veterinary technician to pursue a master's degree. I am very flexible for this reason. As an experienced pet owner and veterinary technician I can medicate, give injections, crate, soothe, feed and play with your pets with ease and confidence. I have worked with scared rescues who no one else would sit for. I am good with animals from all backgrounds and situations. You tell me what your usual routine and preferences are and I will make sure it happens.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my well-rounded experience and genuine love for animals of all ages. I’ve cared for energetic puppies, mellow senior pets, and everything in between. I’m patient, observant, and always make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need—whether that’s playtime, a slow walk, or just some quiet company. I’ve also had experience with basic training, helping puppies learn good habits early on. I treat every pet like family and always aim to create a safe, loving environment where they feel comfortable and cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. As a student-athlete at Montreat College, my schedule is busy but structured, which helps me stay organized and make time for what I love—caring for pets. Taking care of animals is actually a fun and relaxing getaway from the demands of school and sports. I already care for my own Maltipoo and cat, so it’s second nature to fit walks, playtime, and feedings into my day. It’s something I look forward to and take seriously, always making sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always aim to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow the pet’s routine closely—sticking to their feeding schedule, walk times, play habits, and any special instructions you provide. In a client’s home, I respect the space and make sure everything is clean and secure. If pets stay with me, they’ll have a cozy spot to relax, plenty of attention, and time outside for walks and play. I focus on keeping things calm and consistent so your pet feels right at home, even when you’re away.

About: Decades of experience with dogs! I had my first dog for 18 yrs until she passed, then a lab/pit mix rescue until she passed, and have doggie-sat and loved more puppers than I can recall off the top of my head! I have watched all sizes of dogs, from little lap dogs up to Danes and Pyrennes. I am happy to give daily exercise, and provide photos and daily updates so that you know your fur-babies are being loved! I am based in Asheville, for longer house-stays and sitting, I am available for areas around Asheville: ie Burnsville, Old Fort, Waynesville, etc, and along the I-40 corridor from Asheville to Morganton/Valdese. Contact me :) My schedule is generally flexible. Dog and house-sitting is available is on a case-by-case basis. Please feel free to contact me for availability. Longer house-stays are welcome. Dog care will be provided as to the instructions from the dog's human...lots of walks and fetch, assuming the dog is fit and able, snuggles and scritches almost always.

About: I have 4 pets of my own! 2 cats, a dog and even a guniea pig! I have been caring for animals all through my childhood. Helping family friends with horses and dogs or just helping out at home with foster babies! I work in the mornings at a breakfast shop so evenings I am all free! If I’m needed to stay overnight with an animal I will need at least 2 weeks in advance to work it out with my job! I cannot bring pets to my own home. That is for the safety of others pets since my dog gets along with small dogs only, and my cats are elderly! But I have no problem going to clients homes to care for their fur-babies!

“We love leaving our sweet boy Umka with Kasidy because it gives us such a peace of mind to know that she will love and care for him just like we do. We love getting little photo updates of their time together and can tell she loves loving on him. Thank you so much!”

About: What started out as an occasional cat sitting for my family friends quickly turned into a career. I have taken care of people’s horses, cats, dogs, chickens, basically you name it! From Wilmington, to Blowing Rock, to the great state of South Dakota, I have provided reliable and safe care for hundreds of animals so their owners can rest assured while they are away. I am currently a new mom to a wonder baby boy, so getting a full time scheduled position doesn’t work for me right now. I have plenty of help with him however, and would love to get some outdoor time with your pets when you need it most! I am very comfortable with in home visits, as that is what I became accustomed to while farm sitting. I am great at following a routine and instructions, and there is no doubt your pet will be the care they need. In addition, I have my own dog so I’m used to going on as long of a walk as your dog may need!

“Lindsey is dependable and really cared how my pets were doing while I was away. My 8 cats had a great time with her and the pics were reassuring that I made the right decision leaving them in capable hands. Will definitely book with Lindsey again soon!!!”

Emily T.
“Emily is one of the most gentle and patient caregivers for pets that I have ever met. She works hard to understand the unique personalities, behaviors, and needs of pets in her care and adjusts her approach accordingly. I have seen Emily interact with numerous dogs and there hasn’t been one that didn’t loved her. She has extensive experience working with highly reactive pets, application/administration of prescribed medicines, managing specific dietary needs, and maintaining consistent training goals. I would trust her to care for my pet, or the pets of any of my close friends and family, just as I would.”
