“Becky was patient, compassionate and kind to our senior girl. She even put up with this first time cat Mom! Love the Rover Card that gives updates and pics! I will definitely have Becky assist in the future. Highly recommend Becky!!”

“Suzanne did an excellent job taking care of our two cats while we were away for a week. This was our first time using Rover, and we could not be more pleased with Suzanne’s level of dedication and professionalism. She is truly a lover of all pets, and it really shows in her work. She was always on time or even early, and was very interactive with our cats during each visit. She communicated with us during every visit, and provided daily pictures as well. She also went above and beyond to make sure our house was safe and secure with each visit, even going as far and bringing in our empty trash cans from the curb. It was important to us that our cats stay home in a familiar environment while we were away, and having Suzanne check in on them twice a day worked out perfectly. We are now much more comfortable making vacation plans knowing our cats will be well taken care of, and will absolutely use Suzanne again in the future. We could not have asked for a better first experience with Rover.”

“I have 2 dogs that aren't the most playful, but that doesn't stop Kaylyn from trying to get them up, moving and engaged when she comes to visit. We appreciate this on days when they are alone in the house all day!”

“So glad I we were able to hook-up with Lauren. She was exceptionally attentive for a first visit, which was much appreciated. Will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Juliette was wonderful with Ruthie! She sent me daily updates and adorable pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I missed my girl so much, and it meant a lot knowing she was being well cared for. I would absolutely recommend her! ❤️”

“I am so very appreciative of Tricia! I love my doggos with my whole heart, and I wouldn't trust them with just anyone. I knew right away, and my dogs knew right away, Tricia was one of the good ones. Thank you so much for taking care of my babies!”

“Guinevere was fantastic! Great communication, with pictures of my boy playing and being cuddled just like I'd have done. I was worried because I had never left my cat before. Guinevere made sure that she took care of him just as I would and when I got home, my cat was a happy boy! If you're looking for a pet sitter who cares for your fur babies just as you would, Guinevere is the one!”

“Nicole was very responsive and communicative with questions. She treated my pup with care and made sure he was one happy boy. Thank you, Nicole, I will definitely request you again!”

“Ceinwein did a great job and was available with short notice. Very reliable and experienced with dealing with an elderly dog and giving medication. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Crystal popped in for Bogart's mid-day walkabout and snack while we enjoyed a long day out. Nice to know Bogart's covered and we're pretty sure Bogart enjoys greeting his own "company" when we're not there. Thanks Crystal!”

“Auden has been helping us weekly with our new pup. She follows our directions exactly and does a great job with our golden. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for someone to take care of your pet.”

About: My name is Angie. I currently work in the veterinary field with cats and dogs. I have worked in the large animal field as well in the past for farm animals. I have 3 dogs at home but have had cats, bearded dragons, fish, birds and even an african tortoise. I would love to meet some new furry (or even not so furry) friends. I would treat them like they are my own pets. I have a compassion for all living things and it's a passion I would like to pursue now that my children are older and I have some more free time. I do work at a vet hospital 4-5 days a week but other than work, I am available to pet sit in your home or just pop in for walks, feeding and cuddle time if that is all that is required for your pet. I have 3 large dogs at home who are my world. They are trained to stay in our yard or be on a lead outside. They all are on allergy specific diets and medications so I am no stranger to medical issues in dogs. I have also fostered everything from extra small puppies/dogs to extra large dogs.

About: 4 years of experience + 2 happy pups of my own! 🐾 I’ve cared for dogs of friends and family and love making sure every pet feels safe, loved, and well taken care of. I’m currently going to school and working my part time job when I can. I am pretty flexible during the week and available throughout the weekends. I treat every pet like they’re my own. In my home, they’ll get lots of attention, playtime, and a cozy, safe space to relax. I have half an acre for pups to run around as well as a walking path across the street. I also have the best yellow lab girl. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s usual routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether it’s walks, feeding, or just spending time with them, I make sure they feel loved and cared for.
“Katie was wonderful. It was our first time to have someone do drop-in visits for our cat, Moscato. We were away for a few days and Katie kept us posted with photos and how my cat was doing. We are grateful for Katie. She is very caring, attentive and most of all trustworthy. My Moscato was well taken cared of just like her own. I feel comfortable knowing that I have Katie to contact when something comes up and need care for my cat. I highly recommend Katie!! Truly a Star sitter!!”

About: For the past five years, I have provided trusted pet sitting and house sitting services for family members and friends, caring for both dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and personalities. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, administering basic care, administering medication, maintaining routines, providing companionship, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. In addition to caring for others' pets, I am the proud owner of a friendly 5-year-old Golden Retriever, giving me firsthand experience with daily exercise, training reinforcement, grooming, and overall pet wellness. I also grew up in a household with family dogs and cats, which helped foster my lifelong love of animals and understanding of their needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to provide dependable, attentive, and compassionate care that gives pet parents peace of mind. As of currently, I work full-time so I can do things later in the evenings or on weekends. I however, would like to build and grow my client base to be able to make this more full-time and expand my service hours to truly cater to clients and their needs. I am currently working on fencing in my yard. I have a 5 year old golden retriever named Wrangler that would love some company and would keep your pets busy! I can crate your pet as needed if preferred.

Lauren is amazing! She was available for a last minute drop in for my dog Bonnie which I really appreciated. She sent me awesome report cards and photos for Bonnie’s visits! She went the extra mile and I right away felt that I could trust her to take great care of my dog. She is very kind, quick to respond to any messages and very reliable. I will definitely be using her again !

Suzanne was 100%+++ AWESOME!!! Our Rosie had just been diagnosed with an Insulinoma (Cancer) and had become much more needy and required morning medications. We have a strong family & Friends group, but with the extra amount of times and extra care needed we needed someone who could come each day early. Suzanne came every morning between 0630-0700 and took care of Rosie and spent time with her to help her through her morning craziness. She gave us fantastic photos and updates that really help calm us when we went away. I 100% recommend using Suzanne for your pet care needs. We will use her again in the future without a doubt.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
