“Mark has been so helpful the last couple of months with sitting and walking Athena. He and Athena connected right away. He is very reliable, communicates throughout his visit, and sends lots of cute pictures of a very happy dog! Always willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the owner and animal. About: I have always been the go to person when it comes to pet sitting and dog walking. I have had my own reactive dog for the last 6 years and attend training classes with her every week. Which has helped me learn even more skills when it comes to dog care. I currently only do this. So my schedule is very open. I take my own dog out to play early in the morning because of the summer heat. So once I’ve taken care of mine, I am free! I am comfortable coming to your home. I can either play with your dog at your house, or take them out on a walk. I also love cats and have one of my own. So I am willing to check on cats, give medicine, clean litter boxes, and play.

“Alisa was above and beyond the best dog walking experience I could have ever hoped for! My boy Porter absolutely loved her from day one! Alisa is very sweet and very prompt with her responses, and she made me feel at ease with her daily updates and photos of Porter. Thank you so much Alisa, you are absolutely wonderful!!”

About: I have taken care of fur babies since I was a child. I am currently 55 years old, so a very long time! I lived on a ranch for a good portion of my life with all types of animals, from kittens and puppies, to cattle and horses. I have fostered litters of kittens for roughly 10 years. No pet is too complicated for me! (Except maybe snakes) My schedule is kept open for pet care. It helps me stay motivated when I get to play catch with and love on the kitties and doggies I have a fenced in large backyard with no holes. I do have two pet friendly dogs and two pet friendly cats in my home and they are all great with other animals. I believe that it is important to respect other people’s homes and care for their pets as if they were my own. Pets are not only companions, they are family members.

“Sara has been fantastic with our furbaby. She takes Murphy on a walks 3x a week and he absolutely loves her and his morning walks. Sara is always on time, responsible, responsive through Rover app. and takes pictures while on their walks. Thank you Sara! We appreciate you!”

About: I’ve studied dog behavior and cared for my own two with an attentive focus on meeting their needs to build a bond. I bring calm energy and heightened observation to pick up on cues like hunger, boredom, apprehension, and curiosity. My goal is to use all information provided by the owner to be an effective caretaker. I enjoy dogs in every sense of the word, and hope to build a bond they can rely on when being around me. I am reliable and a prompt responder in owner communications. I am currently available a good percentage of the week as I am typically substitute teaching as a main source of income. During the school year, I am available most weekends (Fri- Sun). My current pets are indoor cats. Both of my dogs lived into their teens but have crossed the rainbow bridge. I have a daily play and engagement routine, a feeding routine, and allow them the space they need to explore or just snooze. When I supervise other pets, I follow the routines defined by the owner and attempt to meet 100% of all pet needs.

About: Hello! My name is Sophia. I grew up on a ranch in Chico and I had several cats and dogs growing up. I have a calm and loving demeanor that animals tend to be drawn to. Currently, I have a dog of my own; and she is living a lavish senior dog life. I started out pet sitting for two big dogs and a cat of a good friend of mine and shortly after I had more requests. I want to know all about your pet’s routine so that I can build trust. What is your ideal day for your pet? Please schedule a meet and greet so I can get to know you and your beloved pet. I am available on the weekdays after 4:00. However, I have an open schedule on the weekends and I would be able to work around your schedule. I will follow all of your instructions closely and make your dog's safety my top priority. I will update you on your dog's check in or dog walk using the Rover report card.

I have been trusted with drop-ins, overnight stays, as well as just play time, and would love to do the same with your pets. I want to make sure your animals are happy, safe, and well cared for while you're away. I love animals and have two cats and a dog of my own. I am currently searching for a job, so my schedule is fairly open. Until I find a job my I have open availability to watch your pets! My home does not have a yard area, so I have to take my dog for many walks and to the park daily. I prefer to care for the animals in their own homes so they feel more comfortable.

About: I specialize in providing quality care for cats, dogs, rodents, and reptiles/amphibians. I have extensive experience caring for animals from all walks of life (pun intended), from senior pets who require some extra special attention to the many creatures that typically go unappreciated (especially those of the scaly or slimy variety). I'm not afraid to get down and dirty with pets and have endless patience and understanding when it comes to accidents, behavioral issues, or any of the other less glamorous aspects of pet ownership. I have over a decade of experience with dog, cat, and reptile caretaking, some experience with rodent and bird caretaking, and I am always willing to learn more so I may satisfy your pet needs to a T. I think of and treat pets like the family they are and am dedicated to ensuring and promoting their wellbeing; night or day, rain or shine, I will be there for you and your pets. (Schedule varies depending on school assignments) I can typically work any day of the week but starting 5/11/25 through 8/23/25 I will have Zoom calls I must attend every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm-9:30pm (this only affects drop-ins) (daycare is affected if your pup needs a potty break more frequently than every 3 hours and if you need to pick-up past 6:00pm). For boarding (currently unavailable) any time is acceptable for drop-off and pick-up. Same-day booking is available and I’m typically available during holidays except Christmas. Currently I cannot stay overnight but can sit all day at your home multiple days in a row (I just need to go home to sleep). I provide undivided attention to pets and specialized care according to your instructions. My own dog is small, calm, and well-behaved so he is not to worry about when interacting with your pet in my home during boarding or if you want me to bring him to hang out with your pet during sitting. For boarding/day care: My apartment has a lot of nice landscaping and grassy areas for dogs to play (on or off leash -- you decide) and your dog would get plenty of exercise if that is what you request. I have no qualms about dogs on furniture so if your baby is a couch potato he is more than welcome. I do ask you bring your own leashes, food bowls, and food for your dog for boarding/day care. For sitting you can trust me to be prudent, responsible, caring, and dedicated to your pet's wellbeing, as well as respectful of your home's interior and exterior. I can bathe short-hair and medium-hair dogs up to 30 lbs as long as you have a detachable shower wand and your dog is not allergic to the chemicals in dog shampoo. Kiersten S.
“Kiersten is a very good and reliable dog walker. My dog Klay is still learning on the leash and has a tendency to pull. Kiersten exudes a great amount of patience with him, giving him training tips and tidbits along the way. I have noticed improvement in his walking. I was nervous to let someone walk my dog but kiersten has proven extremely responsible and I am so happy that I made the decision to have her walk Klay. Klay gets excited every time he sees her and you can tell she thoroughly enjoys spending time with him.”

“Holly has pet sat for me several times. I have two dogs and three cats that all love having attention. Holly is great with being with the animals and giving them love and attention, not simply letting them outside and refilling their food. I would highly recommend Holly for future pet sitting needs because she provides the same familial love your pets are used to.”

Sophia L.
“Sophia is a dog lover to her core! I have had her care for two of my dogs, an older German Shepherd and a Australian Kelpie puppy. I always felt confident that Sophia would provide the best care possible as she is extremely capable and responsible. I recently moved and wish that I could find someone as caring and competent as Sophia to care for my dogs. She is truly a gem!”

Jessica H.
“Jessica has that special way with animals. She has since she was three years old. Horses, dogs, any animal seems to be drawn to her because of her gentle kind way. She has owned dogs and horses the majority of her 28 years of life and, she has such a big heart for homeless and rescue animals especially. She rescued a dog several years ago that was found on the side of the road in a plastic bag. He has become her soulmate in many ways. She has cared for him and loved him and given him the very best home possible. She just has a natural ability and love for animals and the animals know it!”
