“I highly recommend Deanna! When I first met with Deanna, she was professional and down to earth. I felt very secure and comfortable with letting Deanna take the reigns on my little bud Ranger for walks daily. I am upset that she had to move away, but wish her only the best in the future. Rhinelander area pet owners will be lucky to have her in the area!”

About: I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs since I was a teenager. The neighbors would often ask me to housesit and watch their pets while they were away from home. I have also taken dog training classes as I have two labs myself, and I had in-home training, attending classes for dog training, and, a dog walker that taught me some great tips. I’m familiar with giving animals medication. I can take animals swimming or hiking or some other fun adventure to tire them out as well as have a lot of fun! I’m with puppies too. I adopted my two dogs when they were both eight weeks old and they were one year apart. I’m responsible and reliable. I am a stay at home mom. I have a very flexible schedule. which allows me that opportunity to take the dogs on many adventures around the city. I like to interact with Pets and snuggle with them. I live on 5 acres by a small private lake. My two dogs had no problem staying in the backyard that’s away from the road the road is in front of our house but I never let my pets go in front of the house because it’s too close to the road. They always stay in the back, lots of woods and so many sticks to chew on! Plus swimming in the lake if your dog is a water lover!

“Katie is absolutely amazing! We have never used a pet sitter before and were nervous to find someone that we could trust. We could not have hoped for a more thoughtful, considerate, loving person to watch our cat, Jellyfish. She cared for her so well we were nervous Jelly would want to leave us for her. Lol! We are already planning to work with her again. She is worth every penny!”

About: I'm energetic and positive. All dogs will feel like the most important dog in the world with me. We will go on walks, play with their fave toys, and then snuggle when it's time to relax. Your dog will always have 100% of my attention and love. I grew up with multiple dogs, (a Belgian sheep dog, a golden retriever, a German Shepard, a boxer, and two mutts!) so if you have more than one it's absolutely fine. I know how to divide my attention so all dogs in my care feel like they’re special and get their one on one time. I don't have a breed preference. I also am not intimidated by the size of dogs either, as I have owned a 150 pound great pyr in the past and now have a 22 pound pug mix. If you have a blended pet household I am more than happy to give ALL pets attention/take care of them as I am well versed in being a cat caretaker and lover too! :) I work from home with a Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM schedule. I have an hour for lunch that allows me to be flexible with walks and play time. I have flexibility in my work day to have many scheduled or even unscheduled breaks a furry friend may need from me. I have a fenced in back yard and a younger dog and adult cat to keep your pup company. I like close to boom lake and walk my dog at my lunch hour around the park for some extra stimulation and exercise. I have a subscription to bark box and that means I have many (too many to me sometimes!) toys varying in durability and we used to also have a pitbull that has crossed the rainbow bridge.
12. Catherine W.
“Catherine is absolutely wonderful who takes excellent care of my dog. He is an anxious boy that needs a lot of reassurance and Catherine made him feel so at ease, enough to where he would be comfortable playing and eating treats with her, which is a big deal for him! Right off the bat during our first met n greet I knew she was the perfect fit. She is very warm and friendly and has so much patience! She met the unique requests of my schedule and my dogs needs without issue and is always reliable. It is such a relief to come home to a relaxed and happy dog. The notes and photo updates are really nice and help when away from my pup. I look forward to booking Catherine again in the future and couldn't recommend her enough!! Thanks for doing such a great job!!”

About: I have worked at two boarding kennels in my life, where I’ve handled dogs of all sizes as well as cats. I have had dogs and cats all of my life. I know that being a fur parent, things come up unexpectedly & that making sure your pets have their daily routine is important, I am here to help! While I do work 8a-4:30, we can make something work! I currently have two dogs, two cats, 5 fish, and a leopard gecko! My dogs are on a set schedule everyday, they get fed at 5:40 am for breakfast and 4:30 pm for dinner. They are let out as needed & kenneled during the times I am gone! My cats are free fed throughout the day & I always check their bowls morning and night to make sure they have food.

About: I’ve cared for dogs from Small - Large since about 4-5 years ago. With my own Dog that I’ve trained since a Puppy (3 months). She is now 2 Years and 5 Months Old, and knows quite a bit, with a wonderful recall/off-switch! If there’s anything sepcific you’d like me to work on, I can do that! I’ve watched family members dogs (and other pets) when needed, and they’ve received the attention and exercise they need by playing, walking, training, etc! Since I have my own Dog, I’m constantly caring for a living being! Everyday is a training day as well as working! We are planning to attend events for Bikejoring to be proven in harness. Will be doing Weight Pulling as well! Given the two breeds making up her genetics (Siberian Husky x German Shepherd Dog), she needs a LOT of mental and physical stimulation which means CONSTANT exercise. Fun FACT: I and my dog walked 90 miles for a cause for the month of June! Depending on Breed, Size, and Needs, anyone’s pets will receive my full attention (even during little breaks) as they are my responsibility. I will feed, water, play, and exercise as needed throughout the day. I’m not one for table scraps, so your pup will definitely not receive any UNLESS you request they do as a small treat. The MAIN reason I won’t feed scraps is because I find it only necessary to feed what is made for them, while keeping in mind the quality ingredients that are needed for sufficient growth and proper development. I also spend over $80 o dog for per month for just one dog. So, I’m not okay with my dog getting scraps. The only thing besides JUST kibble, is a raw diet, which if open to it, or you’re familiar with it, I can make up JUST for your dog! (I have photos that look very appetizing to the human eye… but most likely wouldn’t taste too good… or at least it wouldn’t with the raw meat) Pet Sitting - As long as it fits my schedule, I can Pet Sit up to 48 hours, possibly 36 in YOUR home! If you wanted your home to be cleaned up a bit, I have no problem sweeping, mopping, wiping down windows, vacuuming, etc. Dog Walking - I would probably be available to do this most days, especially days off, to where I can bring your dog(s) to a dog park (along with my own)! Minimum amount of time for Walking/Dog Park Session would be 1 Hour, no less. Training: Basic and Advanced Obedience Training. MINIMUM 1 Hour Sessions.
