About: I am a huge dog lover and would love to provide your pet with lots of love. I understand that all dogs behave differently but I am able to care for any type of dog. I have experience with my three little dogs and I am able to attend to all of their needs and I am happy to do it. I also have a big fenced backyard that any dog would love with lots of room to run and play freely if you would like your dog to stay at my place. I also have plenty of dog toys to provide for your pet if they wish for something to play with. I am available to work anytime after 3 on weekdays and i am free anytime on the weekends. For my entire life I have had a dog and have loved every second of it and it would be my pleasure to watch your dog! While on a walk i would make sure the dogs collar is securely on and wont slip off and i will be careful when walking on the street. While in a fenced yard or park i will always keep an eye on the dog to make sure theyre safe and make sure the gate door is shut in fenced yards. When introducing new dogs i will, it can take place in my house or the dogs family’s house, i will see how the dogs react when they see each other. If a dog shows a sign of aggressiveness such as growling, backing away, or their hair standing up i will try to keep the dogs separated and remove them from the situation. If a dog is showing any signs of anxiety i would first and the dog’s owner if there is anything specific i should and i would try to find an environment where the dog is comfortable.

About: I created this account while looking for a drop in caretaker for my own pup. Since, I have started working from home and changed my account to become a sitter. I have loved being able to help someone else in need of the same services I was seeking and provide a trustworthy caretaker for their pup. It has been such a pleasure meeting & spending time with all the pups who have since stayed at my house. About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am a dog trainer living in Eastport and am available for drop ins, shorter walks, and daycare, but my real specialty is long walks (1+ hours)! Long dog walks offer incredible benefits for dogs - providing physical exercise that helps maintain a healthy weight, improving cardiovascular health, and preventing destructive behaviors caused by pent-up energy. Beyond the physical, it also engages their minds through new sights, smells, and sounds, keeping them mentally stimulated. I know from my own experience of working long hours (even from home) that it's just not always feasible to give your dog the kind of stimulation they really crave - and that's what I'm here for! Beyond being a dog mom to my own 9 year havapoo, I am a trainer, volunteer at a local shelter and work at a doggy daycare as well. In 2018, my journey began working at a pet store, which eventually led me to my passion, working with shelter dogs. I now wish to expand my horizons and skillset to your beloved dog! I'm working full time, but would like to take clients at any time, 8am-8pm Sundays and Mondays. At client's homes, I like to discuss both the pet's and the owners needs and what our goals are in our quality time together. I check all equipment (collars, harnesses, leashes) to ensure safety. I provide not only physical exercise, but mental enrichment through training, puzzle toys, play, sniffing activities, calming exercises, and so on.

About: I have had lots of experience caring for all different types of pets. I currently work with horses, cows, donkeys, and a zebra. I have volunteered for Southampton Animal Shelter for over ten years and have logged over 400 hours. I currently have ten dogs as well as five cats of numerous sizes, so I will be able to care for pets of all shapes and sizes. I am currently in high school until June 13, which means I am only able to sit weekdays after 2:30 until then. During the summer I will be free before 2:30.
