About: I’m a reliable and responsible pet sitter with previous experience caring for pets and house sitting. I’ve been around animals my whole life and understand the importance of following routines, being attentive, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine since I already care for my own dog and am used to planning my day around feeding, walks, and making sure pets get the attention they need. My schedule is flexible, and I’m very responsible about showing up on time and following the routine each owner provides. I know how important consistency is for pets, especially when their owners are away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medications, and any special needs. I’m also very respectful of the home and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. Most importantly, I give each pet plenty of attention, patience, and care.
“Jessica and Evan did a great job taking care of our pup. She sent tons of updates, pictures, and videos. We don’t ever hesitate to leave him with Jessica because she treats him like a part of the family:)”

“Veronika was awesome with Lobster! He seemed to like her immediately upon meeting her. Great communication, sending pics and videos updates, and asking follow-up questions. I definitely recommend her and will plan to contact her again in the future if I need boarding for Lobster again.”

About: I began pet sitting in high school, visiting clients’ homes to feed their dogs and give them playtime while owners were away. Over time, this grew into a passion for understanding canine behavior. My interest in psychology, especially behavioral and humanistic approaches, along with my love for dogs, led me to earn my certification as an obedience trainer from Animal Behavior College. Whether I’m doing drop-ins, walks, boarding, or housesitting, I ensure every dog is enriched and cared for. I welcome all breeds and temperaments as if they were my own. I’m also working toward applying to veterinary technology school, with the goal of becoming a licensed veterinary technician. I want to build on my dog training experience by learning more about animals’ physical health so I can better understand and support each pet’s individual needs. My schedule is flexible for all types of dog care—except boarding and daycare. I use positive reinforcement to help keep your pup both physically and mentally stimulated. I'm versatile and reliable, and I’m fluent in both English and Spanish to ensure smooth communication with all pet parents. I offer companionship and affection to pets in the absence of their owners, maintaining their routine and minimizing stress. In addition I maintain contact with the owners to update them on their pet's activities and wellbeing.

I am also willing to care for puppies and senior pets and follow any specific instructions provided by their owners. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I grew up in a home with multiple dogs—both small and large—so I’m very comfortable handling different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I previously worked at PetSmart as both a pet care associate and a dog trainer, where I gained valuable experience working with dogs of all temperaments, as well as cats and exotic pets. My training background allows me to better understand animal behavior, reinforce good habits, and handle pets with patience and confidence. Outside of work, I’m known for rescuing stray animals and even helping injured wildlife whenever I can—animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have two dogs, two cats, and a snake of my own, so I truly understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. Whether your pet needs structured care, playtime, walks, or just extra love and attention, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’m reliable, attentive, and dedicated to making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I work full-time Monday through Friday, but I’m available for drop-in visits in the mornings, during lunch, and after 4 PM. I also offer boarding in my home and can provide a safe, comfortable environment for your pet while you’re away. On weekends, I have full availability and can dedicate my time to caring for your pet, whether that’s drop-ins, walks, or boarding. I’m flexible and happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet gets the care and attention they need! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and two friendly, well-socialized dogs who love having company. When I’m away from home, I crate my dogs to ensure they stay safe and secure, and I’m happy to follow your preferences regarding crating or routines for your pet. I always take a thoughtful, attentive approach to introductions and supervision to make sure all pets feel comfortable and stress-free in my home. You can feel confident knowing your pet will be in a safe, structured, and loving environment while in my care.

About: I’ve had pets for 6 years now. I got my first Ragdoll cat in 2020, then raised a black Labrador from a puppy in 2021. We spent a lot of time together and went on a lot of trips, so he’s pretty used to new places and changes. My friends used to call my pets “travel pets.” In 2024, I also got a Siamese cat. I’m very used to having pets around all the time and spending long hours with them. I really enjoy being with animals. Being around pets makes me happy and gives me a lot of energy, and I’m more than happy to spend time just hanging out with them, playing, walking, or keeping them company. I’m a PhD student at Texas A&M, and I mostly work from home since my work is computer-based. I don’t need to go into an office except for occasional meetings, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I usually like to take pets out first thing after I wake up, and during the day I have plenty of breaks where I’m happy to spend time playing with them or just hanging out. I’m around most of the day, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I often watch my friends’ pets, especially when they go home for holidays or travel, so I’m used to caring for pets that are new to me. I’m pretty good at getting pets to feel comfortable quickly, and I always take things slow and let them set the pace. I keep my place clean and calm, and I’m careful about safety and routines. I want pets to feel safe and relaxed, not stressed.

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Reliance can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Reliance home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Reliance.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
