This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. I want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and plan on applying to the Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2026. I have worked in two veterinary clinics, one of which was AHAA accredited and provided overnight boarding for both cats and dogs. Outside of my time in clinics, I have also studied in laboratories that were at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. Although not as relevant to this service, I also have experience in exotic pet care, including lagamorphs, rodents, arthropods, and wildlife. My unique experiences have provided me not only with a vast of knowledge of animal medicine, but an understanding of animal communication and husbandry as well. I know that pets are held very close to our hearts, and if I am given the privilege to watch yours, I will use my knowledge, and, most importantly, my compassion to give them the love and care they deserve while your away. While I am currently in college, my work load this semester is very light as I near the end of my degree - only 8 hours a week. When I’m not at class, I’m at home and will be able to give your pet the attention they need. I am very flexible and am willing to watch your pet in my two story condo or in your very own home! About: Grew up on a farm with dogs and cats. My mom is a breeder for Bernese Mountain Dogs so I’m not afraid of big doggies! Experience with new litters and all sorts of breeds. I’m a graduate student so my schedule is flexible making it easy to watch pets during work hours. I also work from home as needed. I know schedules and routines are very beneficial for anxious pets. While you are away I can walk, feed, bathe if need be and make sure they are taken out regularly.
