“Meeko stayed with Jennifer for the first time last week and we were so happy with our experience. She has a big beautiful family so there is no shortage of love given to your pet. But between her own dogs and others boarding, Meeko had the best time playing with all of them and Jennifer sent plenty of photos and updates. We will absolutely use her services again I highly recommend her!”

“Another wonderful sit. Archer just loves his time with Abigail. She not only takes great care of him, but also ensures to facilitate her knowledge in training to continue keeping my Pup learning and well behaved.”

“I couldn't have asked for better care than what Richelle provided. She was very understanding about Teddy's separation anxiety and all that came with it. Definitely will rebook with Richelle!”

“Joanne was SO great with Marvin! After having some flight troubles she ended up watching Marv 10 hours longer than expected. She was so flexible and accommodating of our situation. While the dogs were playing, Marv's flea and tick collar fell off and got a little chewed, and she even replaced that for us! She called our vet to find out where she could purchase a new one. Joanne went above and beyond and Marvin felt right at home sleeping in bed with her. We hope to use Joanne again and would absolutely recommend her to any doggy family! He's exhausted from his fun stay with Joanne's family. :-)”
“Rosangela did a wonderful job with our dog. My dog was torn between staying and going home when we arrived to pick her up. She thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Will definitely be using her again!!”

“Alysia is a great sitter for our pup Max! She was very careful and considerate when we first introduced him to her dogs, and they all play well together. Max comes home tired and happy! She's responsive and always sends photos and updates. We feel very comfortable trusting her with watching our boy!”

“Amber took great care of my dog while I went on a trip. She even got him to eat regular which was a surprise since he looses his appetite when we are away. Communication with her was easy. She gave us regular updates during our trip which was nice and helped us to not worry about our pup. She did a great job.”

“As always Amber and her husband are amazing. They were particular life savers for this vacation as they were able to work around my strange pick-up/drop-off times and were flexible when our flight got delayed.”

“Daniel and Lauren were phenomenal with Kennedy. This is her second stay with them and she loved it. Kennedy had an ear surgery a few days before her stay and Lauren and Daniel were great with giving her meds and caring for her. Highly recommend them!”
“Loree and Jeff are two angels sent from the doggy gods! They were absolutely amazing with my shepherd Zeus. They sent lots of pictures and communicated almost instantly with all of my questions. They really treated Zeus like their own dog and spoiled him so much! I will absolutely be asking them to dog sit again, I have zero complaints!”

About: With 19 years of hands-on experience caring for animals, I’ve learned that every pet has their own unique personality, needs, and little quirks that make them special! As a lifelong animal lover and proud pet parent myself, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I’ve cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, from energetic puppies who love to play to sweet seniors who prefer a slower pace and a little extra TLC. I’m comfortable with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, basic puppy training reinforcement, and providing the patience and attention older pets deserve. What sets me apart is that I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pet care. I take the time to get to know each animal, respect their individual routines, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet needs an adventure buddy, a cuddle companion, or simply a familiar, reassuring presence, I’ll treat them with the same love, patience, and care I give my own. 🐾❤️ Caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life, so welcoming a few more furry friends into my routine comes naturally! As a devoted pet parent myself, my days are filled with feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and making sure every animal gets the love and attention they deserve. I have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time to your pets without feeling rushed. Whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, or keeping your furry family members company while you’re away, I’m happy to work around their individual needs and routines. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, so my goal is to keep their days as comfortable, familiar, and stress-free as possible. Your pets won’t just be another appointment on my calendar. They’ll be a priority! Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priorities! As a pet parent myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your furry family members in someone else’s care, and that’s something I never take lightly. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and do my best to maintain the routines your pets already know and love. From feeding schedules and potty breaks to walks, playtime, and snuggles, I follow your instructions closely to help your pets feel safe, secure, and comfortable. During walks and outdoor activities, I stay attentive to my surroundings, use secure leashes, and always prioritize your pet’s safety. I understand that every animal has different personalities, boundaries, and comfort levels, and I never force interactions or situations that could make them uncomfortable. Communication is also very important to me! I’m happy to provide regular updates, pictures, and little check-ins so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your babies are happy and in loving hands. My goal is simple: to provide the same patience, respect, and unconditional love that I would want someone to give my own pets!
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 9 years old when I got my first cat named Midnight. I have had Australian Shepherds, dachshunds, Bengal cats, a Pomeranian (who will be 14 this year). You name it I have probably cared for it! I just absolutely love animals and always tell people I prefer them over humans lol I have been working from home for 6 years and am able to easily manage watching over fur babies while I work. I get an hour for lunch as well which gives me plenty of time during my work schedule to go for walks if the weather permits. I have a nice fenced in backyard, a safe neighborhood and no kids. My dog is definitely a spoiled princess and I wouldn't have it any other way. I would love to spoil your baby as well!
“Chloe seemed to do enjoy being with April and her husband, as well as her dog Ziggy. April gave updates as to how Chloe was doing and seemed to follow instructions regarding Chloe's care. I definitely recommend April to care for your fur babies.”

“Sophia was a great sitter for our Havanese Bru! Our pup is friendly but not very social and doesn't like walks, and Sophia adjusted to Bru's unusual dog behavior. She sent messages letting us know that Bru was making herself at home. We will definitely call Sophia again!”

About: Animals have been a big part of my life since I was born. Our family had pets ranging from cats and dogs to pigs and horses. I worked at a family vet clinic that gave me skills with animals and knowledge of when they just aren't feeling right and contacts of who to call. I also have pet sat for friends and family for 8 years. Your pet will become my own when I pet sit. They will be spoiled and loved and I am very good at following directions exactly. I am blessed to have a very flexible schedule and am able to fit pet care in when needed. I myself currently have one cat and dog who I care for and spoil at home. However they have other family members who step up when I am needed elsewhere. I do not offer care in my home as I have a small apartment and pets of my own. However I make sure to build trust and create a safe and loving environment whenever I enter another's home. I make sure to get all the information I can about the pet I will be caring for and bring instructions with me to make sure I follow them exactly. I will do whatever is suggested to help the pet feel comfortable and loved and I have many tricks from experience with rowdy or shy animals to help if no instructions are offered. I have open communication with my families and love to send pictures and updates to help keep minds at ease.
“There home is absolutely beautiful! They had everything setup perfectly for my fur baby. They shared daily videos and photos of her playing and being walked. I would absolutely book again. Thank you so much for being kind heart people and allowing my fur baby to stay with you.”

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
