We were nervous to leave him for the first time since adopting him, he’s goes to work with us every day and he rides with us nearly everywhere but our daughters play sports and we have long weekend days away from home. They sent videos of him running around with the other dogs playing and having a blast, which was great to see because he’s a total couch potato at home. When my husband picked him up he acted like he didn’t want to leave which is out of character for Oliver because he’s usually glued to us 24/7! Animals have a special place in my heart, they become more than pets, they become family and I intend to treat and care for them as such. I will be starting classes again soon, which are online so pet care fits perfectly into my daily/weekly routine. I'll be able to create a schedule that works well for school and being able to give the best attention I can to pet care. Currently I am able to care for pets at the client's home if it is for dogs. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.
