About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a toddler. I have fostered, pet sat for friends and family many times and recently lost my own dog of 13 years. About: I have a dog myself (4 years old) and I understand how hard it is to find someone to take care of your dogs while you’re away. I would absolutely love if you trust me to watch your babies and I will send you lots of pictures and updates if you’re comfortable with that. I’m a graduate student at Appalachian State and live super close to campus so I’m at my apartment most of the day when I’m not in class. I am quite flexible, I do live in an apartment so a lot of what I’ll do with be out and about or playing with my dog if they’re good together. I am available to watch them often and I’m the only one on the home so you don’t have to worry about them running away for any reason.

About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old! Horses, chickens, cows, donkeys, fish, hamsters, goats, sheep, rats, kittens, dogs, etc! I have been pet sitting for the same family for the last 5 years since their jobs and family require them to leave often, but they want to make sure their animals never feel neglected by this. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs. I’ve also worked with rescue dogs and service dogs so I am able to take time to help the dogs warm up to me if they are more fearful. I currently also babysit when I am needed but no more than a few hours at a time and always within driving distance so I will be able to get to your dog in no time! I am confident in giving any medications your dog(s) may need, as well as kenneling them or leashing them to take them outside or on walks. I always have treats on hand in case they need a little encouragement.

About: I’ve been around dogs all my life. Over the years we have had small dogs to large dogs. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and hikes. Also enjoy playing with cats! I’m currently working part time and have plenty of time to hang out with your four legged friend! I am available for drop in visits, walks, hikes and house stays while you are away. About: I love taking care or dogs and cats of every kind. Ever since I was 12 I’ve taken care/loved on my neighbors pets while they were out of town or even my own. I really enjoy getting to meet new animals and care for them as my own. I’m currently working for myself remotely. I set my own schedule, this allows me to be available for most times throughout the week to love on your pet. I love to take my dogs for walks/runs. So, if that’s what your dogs prefer (or cats, can’t exclude them!) I’m happy to take them on daily walks/runs. As far as nighttime routine, I prefer doing what’s best for your pet.
