About: Hi! I’m an animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets. I’ve been a vet technician since 2018 .I currently have 1 cat, 2 dogs, 1 parrot and even chickens, so I understand how important it is to give every animal attention, patience, and loving care. About: Friends, coworkers, and family members have trusted me with taking care of their pets over the years. Most of my formal experience with caring for other peoples pets came during and after college, however I was raised around pets (cats and dogs) and learned how to be safe and responsible with animals when I was very little. I am very comfortable with a variety of breeds and temperaments. I have a good understanding of basic commands and have trained two of my own dogs from puppies. I grew up around dogs and cats (we had three golden retrievers at one point!) and always looked forward to getting a dog of my own. There is something about the bond between owner and dog that is special and unique. I enjoy having this bond with my own dog but I also love meeting new animals and seeing their personalities come out as they get comfortable interacting. I have been exposed to many types of dogs while dog sitting, visiting local dog parks, and traveling with our dogs to pet friendly locations. I am familiar with caring for dogs that take oral medication and/or have health problems such as limited sight or blindness. I have one small child in the home, so any dogs staying with us during the day or overnight would need to be comfortable and well behaved enough to be around a young child. I wake up early and go to bed around 9pm/10pm. I have one dog in the home who is very friendly and well socialized. He takes little to no time to warm up to other dogs when introduced. Your dog will have plenty of space to be comfortable to chill and play! We enjoy spending time outside on nice days. When it is too hot or cold outside I make sure our pup gets playtime or enrichment toys/treats inside. I currently can offer dog walking services, daily check-ins for cats or dogs, and day/night boarding at our home (as long as your pet is a good and safe fit for a home with a small child). We have a large front and backyard as well as a carport/porch area. There is plenty of space for playing fetch, having the zoomies, or chewing on a treat while getting some fresh air, rain or shine! If your dog requires being leashed/walked when going potty, that is no problem. There is plenty of space to take them around the yard for sniffs and potty, as well as walkable streets near our house, and a beautiful park with a walking trail less than 2 minutes away. Our dog currently follows recall and commands to do his "business" and come back, but if we are caring for another dog we will leash them both or follow the owner's preferences and what they are comfortable with.

About: I have been a pet mom for years and now have my second dog. I trained her and would love to care for your pet! I have been the go-to person for my family for years. We have had tons of exotic as well as challenging pets through the years. I am a full time barista! But don’t fret, my shifts are never more than 7 hours and I have nothing stopping me from taking fantastic care of your fur babies! About: Hello, my name is Elizabeth I've always wanted to care for animals since I was 5yrs old. My first pet was a German shepherd/pitbull mix, he was my best friend. I'm a graduate from Ross medical education center in Huntsville,AL. I'm a certified vet assistant. I'm able to administer medication, change bandaging, and care for pets who are recovering from surgery. I have a passion for animals and making sure they're taken care of, is my number one priority. About: Ever since I was a child I have always managed to keep a pet in the house wether my parents liked it or not! I have taken care of many dogs in my life time, wether it be bathing, walking or simply feeding them. My love for animals is very prominent to me and others and will never die! I am a 3rd year college student at UNCG! During the week I am pretty busy , with maybe some room to squeeze in on Tuesday and Thursdays. But on the weekend I am all yours! Friday-Sunday. About: My daughter and I grew up helping take care of dogs and have been around them for as long as we can remember. We’ve looked after our own dogs as well as those of friends and family. There has never been a year in our lives without a dog in it, and we truly can’t imagine life without one! I currently work full time as a 2nd grade teacher, but I’m available for boarding, doggie day care, walking, dropping in, or playing with your dog during the week and on the weekends. About: I have been taking care of family members' dogs regularly for years, including senior dogs with special needs and puppies with no training. Over the years I have gained a working knowledge of caring for dogs with dietary restrictions and mobility issues. I have also had experience teaching two puppies potty training and leash training. Any size dog is welcome, for I have taken care of dogs ranging from six to ninety pounds. I can work around the pet's needs if given a few days to iron out personal schedules. I am in college, so if I spend the night pet sitting, I will have to allocate a certain amount of time for my classes. When in a client's home I like to have a detailed list of instructions regarding the locations of a pet's food, toys, and personal belongings. I will always strive to keep a pet's usual schedule when inside their home and leave time for them to become comfortable with me. I am not afraid of reactive dogs, I can handle ones that bark and bite easily. As the night progresses I will make sure that the home is secure, clean, and happy for the dog I am watching. I am perfectly happy to sleep with the dog on a couch or on the floor if the need arises. Special dietary needs are always important to me, so medications and food will be given correctly at the allocated times.
