“Anastasia did a good job with clear communication which was really helpful. She also took initiate to pick up meds for our dog to avoid having to reach out to us while on vacation. We were thankful for her help and care of Eddie. We will be utilizing her services again!”

“Kathy did a wonderful job not only caring for my cats as if they were her own, but her communication with me was above and beyond. I felt very secure that my cats were well taken care of during our vacation and she made a sincere effort to befriend and nuture our pets when we couldn’t be there. I would highly recommend and will be booking Kathy again on our next trip!”

“Blayze was very accommodating and professional. She took care of both of our pups above and beyond expectations, and our one dog is a bit of a trouble maker. If you need a reliable dog sitter don’t hesitate to contact Blayze, 10/10 would recommend.”
About: I grew up around dogs and understand the love, attention, and exercise they need to be happy and healthy. I have a passion for the outdoors and enjoy everything from casual neighborhood walks to longer adventures. When caring for your dog, I’ll treat them like one of my own—providing plenty of attention, exercise, and care while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands. I work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, which allows me to provide dog walking services in the evenings and on weekends. Most weekends I am available, especially with a little advance notice to plan ahead. I’m happy to work with pet owners to find a schedule that fits both their needs and mine. Growing up with dogs and having a love for the outdoors, I enjoy spending time walking and caring for pets, ensuring they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. Having grown up with dogs and spent years caring for them, I understand their body language and can recognize when they’re tired, stressed, overwhelmed, or simply need a break. I will treat your dog as if they were my own—with patience, kindness, and attention to their individual needs—so you can feel confident knowing they’re in caring and capable hands.
About: I have fifteen years of pet sitting experience. I sat for neighbors, family and friends. I will take your dogs for walks, clean out your cats litter boxes, and feed your pets. All pets need love and extra attention when their family is gone and I will give extra scratches and accommodations to make them feel right at home. I’m a part time preschool teacher with a flexible schedule. If your pet loves car rides, say no more they are more than welcome to come. Your furry friend will have a companion all day. If your pet requires medication, no problem I have experience with giving pills and shots. If your dog requires a bed to sleep nearby or in the bed that’s not a problem. We have a toddler bed for your pup to sleep on or a king size bed to share. My home has a fenced in yard and three friendly Golden Retrievers. I have four children in the home from ages 5-11. We have a quiet room that can be fenced off if your dog needs some quiet time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and needs for friends, family, and neighbors since I was a child. I’ve also worked in animal kennels helping dogs find their forever homes. “Carissa was so mindful and caring with my kitties, and was so gentle with giving my 20yo kitty her meds. She even took out my trash when I forgot, and sent lots of pictures every day I was away. Absolutely will be booking again, thank you so much!! 💙”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and over the past 2 years I started house sitting and watching dogs/cats in my community. I have stayed with dogs and cats ranging from 6 months old to seniors. I am currently working part time and have flexibility throughout the week/weekend. I can drop by or hang out with your pets for a few hours when needed. I love to play, go on walks, or hang around if your pet just needs a companion. I always follow my clients guidelines and expectations in their home. I make sure to have great communication so they have one less stressor for the day!
“Stella was absolutely amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. From the very beginning, she was kind, professional, and incredibly attentive to our dog’s needs. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away!”

About: For my senior year of high school I went to a trade school to get my vet assistant certification. I graduated and received my certificate. In the program I was taught basic grooming nails, ears, and even shaving. Everyday we would walk the classroom dogs and interact with them. After high school I worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months before I ended up without a car and wasn’t able to drive the distance to work anymore. Looking for something to do on the side as I work a full time job but never wanted to give up working with animals as it’s my passion. I have a almost year old Pitsky puppy (pitbull/husky) named Dior. He is my such a sweetheart and loves to be around other dogs as well. Over the years I have watched my coworkers dogs, my uncles dog when he got fixed and had to wear a cone during the day so my uncle wasn’t able to watch him since he had to work, etc. I can’t wait to meet and interact with your furry friends and give them a special place in my heart as well💕 I work full time during the week but I always have evenings available to drop ins or walks. Days I am fully available would be Sunday and occasional Mondays as I now babysit as well. Weekends vary but I’m willing to be flexible. I have a nice area that I walk my dog to, to go to the bathroom and there’s also a development I walk through on nicer days, I have an extra bedroom for a crate if your dog needs to bring theirs

I am available most weekends so I can check in on your pets while you're having a blast on vacation! I'm also available most afternoons to take dogs on walks or check in on cats while you're away. I try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. I am very gentle, yet firm with pets. I can be sure they stay within whatever boundaries you set and follow the normal training expectations you have for them. I don't mind crating dogs if requested. Picking up dog poop and cleaning litter boxes are no problem at all!

“Our cat is terrified of outsiders - even family members. Cassidy charmed him out on their first meeting! We asked if she could do a check in on him once a day, refresh food and water, and stick around to be company for a short while. Each day we were gone, she would send us photos and short videos of our cat being pleasant and sociable! (I had half expected him to hide during visits while we were gone.) Not sure what charm Cassidy has with kitties, but I’m glad she has it! We plan to book with her again in the future.”

“We have used Cassidy twice now. It is so nice knowing that our fur babies are taken care of . She took such good care of them and made us feel comfortable being gone. 10 out 10 would recommend.”

“Jo-Ellen is a great pet sitter, very responsible and caring with love to my cats. I’m sure I’ll ask her services next time. Thanks so much , Jo for your wonderful service..”

“Akaycia was absolutely amazing! She came over to meet Tenchi (my dog) before we left on vacation and my dog instantly loved her. She came over and hung out with her, took her for walks each time (she did this on her own) reported exactly how she was doing, potty breaks, and I also got lots of great pictures! I’ve never been away from my dog who is 10 before and she made me feel comfortable and kept in contact so I knew she was doing well. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. She went above and beyond and I would recommend her to anyone. Thank you so much Akaycia!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Red Run
Kassandra did a great job her first time taking care of our two horses! She was so excited to learn and give it a shot. It looked as though no one had been there and that means everything was in its proper place and tidy! She also did good with the stubborn bulldog! I’m glad she felt comfortable to take on this job with the horses.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 1,114 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Red Run. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Red Run. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
