“Jo is a wonderful dog sitter! She cared for our shy rescue Cavalier Maggie who has some PTSD tendencies due to being raised in a puppymill overbreeding environment. Within minutes of arriving, Maggie was going to Jo and getting petted. Jo is attentive and caring. Nice home and fenced yard area. Maggie was well cared for by Jo and Kayla. Received daily pics and updates too. Definitely will hire Jo again and highly recommend her!”

About: I have cared for many pets of friends and family members over the years. Sadly, I had to put my own dog down this fall (13yo Boxer named Neeco) and am looking to get my pup fix through volunteering at the SPCA and pet-sitting/walking, as I am not quite ready to take on another dog just yet. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I especially love senior doggos. I currently work part-time as an RN and make my own schedule, so am very flexible in that regard. Available for boarding most weekends Friday-Monday. My yard is unfenced but on a very private road with low traffic. Lots of trails and streams to explore if that is something your fur baby would enjoy! If not, we have a large deck and screened in porch for outdoor lounging, and big comfy couch by the fireplace for them to relax.

About: I kind of fell into the dog sitting fun. My mom used to “sit” with every kind of being from baby to dog before it became a popular hustle. Growing up I’ve always helped and learned from her how to care for other’s family members as one’s own. In my spare time, I love to hike and I walk everyday. About: I am a medical professional for 20 years, with summers off (yes, I feel blessed ;) which provides flexibility from May to August. Large home, open yard but have electric fencing, a fixed outdoor lead, a crate available and a sweet Lab named Coby who loves other friends to play with.
