About: I have dogsat for around 3 years now both small dogs like mine and big australian shepards. I care for children as well. 💗 💗 I attend class 10-2 pm. So that gives me plenty of time for morning restroom breaks & check-ins, and im free afterwards (unless im babysitting) I would make sure to not disturb their peace but also make them feel love and give them all the necessary attention they may need.

I have a fenced yard for your fur baby to play in. I also have a male (neutered) dog who just turned two. He’s very friendly and trained! About: I have a gentle and loving spirit. I accept all animals into my world. The more the better! I have a lot of love to give. I work part time so I have plenty of extra time to spend with all the pets. I love being outside and going for walks and spending time with animals as much as I can. Whenever I'm with any pets, they have my full attention and care. I'm happy to sit with pets as long as needed and give them the love and care.
“Amy was phenomenal dealing with our many animals and our home. She is kind, caring, and thoughtful. All of my animals were extremely comfortable with her and I felt confident going on vacation with them in her care.”

About: My mission is to give you peace of mind by making sure your animals feel safe and are loved and well cared for. I’ve always had a love for animals and a passion for caring for them. I have been a pet parent for the past 10 years and have been a part-time pet sitter for friends and family during that time. I have changed careers and am now a full-time pet sitter. I also volunteered at two animal shelters for 5 years. I offer personalized care for your pets based on their needs and routines—whether they’re energetic pups who love to play fetch, or more chill kitties who just need a lap to nap on, I’m happy to accommodate. What makes me stand out? I’m patient, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I’ll send you regular updates, so you never have to worry, and I’m happy to follow any special instructions to ensure your pet feels right at home. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy for your pet and I take that responsibility seriously. I am a full-time pet sitter, so I have lots of time to devote to your fur babies. I am available for drop-ins, overnight visits and boarding all throughout the week. I have a fenced in yard with pet turf for your fur babies to run and play. I treat your dogs as if they were my own, providing lots of love and attention. The dogs have free roam of the house including my bed for lots of cuddling.

About: Hi, I’m Krista! Dogs have been the center of my life for more than 15 years. My experience goes far beyond pet sitting—I’ve worked extensively with rescue dogs, including those who have experienced neglect, fear, medical challenges, and behavioral issues. Helping dogs decompress, build trust, and feel safe is something I’m truly passionate about. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or just enjoys a quiet place to relax, I tailor my care to their individual personality and routine. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to earn their trust while making sure they feel loved, comfortable, and secure. I treat every dog as if they were my own. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates, clear communication, and the peace of mind that your pet is receiving one-on-one attention—not just being supervised. My goal is simple: I want your dog to be excited to come back. Whether you need overnight boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, or walks, you can count on dependable, compassionate care from someone with years of hands-on experience and a genuine love for animals. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend! Caring for animals is already a big part of my everyday life. My schedule is built around feeding, exercising, cleaning up after, and spending quality time with pets. Because I have years of experience with rescue animals, I’m accustomed to maintaining consistent routines and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, evening playtime, or overnight care, I intentionally plan my days to ensure every pet receives the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. I only accept the number of pets I can comfortably give personalized care, so your pet will never feel like just another booking. I offer flexible care based on what works best for you and your pet. In your home, I do my best to maintain your pet’s normal routine by following feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and plenty of companionship while also treating your home with the utmost respect. For pets staying in my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, low-stress environment where they receive personalized attention, regular exercise, and lots of affection. I intentionally keep my bookings limited so every pet gets the individual care they deserve, whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in the comfort of their own home.
About: I've been taking care of pups for over 15 yrs now. At first my own pups, but then I would help out friends and family with their pups while they went on vacations and/or traveled for work. My family says I have a kinship with dogs as most dogs naturally get a long with me. Sometimes I can calm the most excitable pup and have them relax in my lap. I work pretty early in the morning. I'm usually home by 10-11 am. I have a pretty good schedule regarding feeding and potty breaks. I tend to take the pups out for walking and play I have a fenced back yard and a dog park near by. I can take your fur babies to the park or on walks regularly. I currently have 2 pups myself, they are well trained and have a pretty steady routine (food and potty breaks). They get along well with other dogs, no biting or aggression. They do set boundaries though. NO humping.

I enjoy spending time with animals. I can provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I am organized, dependable, and committed to making sure pets receive the attention and care they need while their owners are away. “Jocelyn went above and beyond for our Ranger. We came home to a happy Yorkie, clean house, and received pictures the whole weekend. We would highly recommend Jocelyn for pet sitting/house sitting. We will definitely book her again if she is available:)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends, and family have always relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets, as well as provide plenty of love and attention. At home, I’ve cared for my own pets daily ensuring they’re happy, healthy, and well groomed. I also volunteer with the SMU feral cat community, helping feed, monitor, and care for stray cats on campus. My experience spans from puppies and kittens to senior pets, and I’m comfortable with all temperaments and sizes. Schedule: I’m currently working part time and have a flexible schedule that allows me plenty of time to care for cats throughout the day. I regularly help care for SMU’s feral cat community, so I’m used to feeding, socializing, and checking on cats at different times. I’m available for visits and drop ins most weekdays after 2 PM and weekends all day. I prioritize a safe, calm, and clean environment for every pet and always follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and any specific care instructions. I make sure spaces are secure, remove hazards, and monitor pets for any changes in behavior. I currently have a puppy (a bichonpoo) and understand the importance of both love and structure. My motto is “life is too short let them sleep on the bed,” but I also believe discipline is key in shaping well behaved dogs. I’m happy to bring my puppy along for companionship if approved, but I always ask first since I respect that every pet and owner has different boundaries.
About: I’ve cared for dogs belonging to friends, family, and coworkers for over 10 years. As a dog owner myself for the past 6 years, I understand the importance of reliable, loving care. I am comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, administering basic medications, and following your pet’s routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. I’m currently working part time and enjoying being outside and walking. Will be available 3-4 times a week mid-late morning and early afternoon. I have a secure fenced yard and provide a safe, clean environment for pets. I follow each pet’s routine, provide regular potty breaks, exercise, fresh water, and can crate your dog if requested for their comfort and safety.
“After our dog proved too challenging for our previous sitter mid-trip, Rover support was able to efficiently connect us with Bryan and he quickly proved himself capable and reliable. Our dog is something of a velcro dog and tends to develop separation anxiety. Compounding this she is quite storm-scared and the weather took a turn for the stormy during our trip. Bryan was able to step in quickly, transition smoothly with our previous sitter, and effectively attend to our dog’s needs as well as the needs of our cats. He clearly has a passion for pet care, and I speak for both myself and my household members when I say that we were very grateful to receive such diligent service. In addition to his stellar care for our pets, he was attentive to the other needs of the household and asked good questions whenever anything was unclear.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 122 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ravenna. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ravenna walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ravenna maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ravenna choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
