About: Hi, I’m Kristen (I go by my middle name, Lauren)! I’ve been around animals before I started walking. I contribute my love of animals to my mother, who couldn’t hurt a fly. I’ve had my own animals since I was 20 years old. I work alongside my local animal shelter and have fostered for them for the last 5 years. I am also on the board of a nonprofit (Friends of the Tipton County Animal Shelter) that helps animals in our community. I have experience with dogs of all ages and most breeds. I also had a Catahoula that was born deaf and partially blind, so I have experience with dogs with disabilities as well. Big personalities? High energy? Zero manners? I’ve got it. I’ve worked with everything from zoomie-fueled chaos gremlins to sweet senior couch potatoes— and I know how to match their energy while still keeping things safe and structured. I’m comfortable with multi-dog households, strong pullers, feeding routines, crating, and basic meds. For safety purposes, I do require dogs to be crated when I’m not home and overnight.

“We had Dana come stay at our house and babysit our cat, Bella, for 5 days while we took a work-cation. I really like Dana, and we will definitely request her again. Here are a few reason why: 1) Our AC broke a few days before we were to leave but that did not bother Dana, she took it all in stride (thankfully, we did end up getting it fixed before we left). 2) Bella is not an easy cat to feed. She's a picky eater and can be somewhat of a pain when it comes to finishing her food. Dana was willing to work with Bella's "bad eating habits," which can honestly be a pain in the butt! 3) Bella knows how to do tricks so Dana took pictures of her tricks and sent them to me. This made me feel good, and let me know Bella likes Dana (Bella is skeptical of strangers). 4) We have bird feeders, bird baths, and even a bee bath that she kept full. 5) She watered our outdoor potted flowers/plants and they looked great when we came home. 6) Dana got our mail. 7) Dana left the house neat and tidy.”

I currently volunteer with House of Mews on a weekly basis. I have knowledge and experience in caregiving, bathing, and administering medicine. I follow directions well and will give your furry friend the best care possible. Currently working my own hours, so I am flexible and free to visit whenever you need me. If you have any special requests, just let me know and we can work out pricing. My home is unfortunately unavailable for boarding. But I’m comfortable taking care of pets in all types of environments and don’t mind traveling with them in my car if you’d like me to enrich their day at a dog park or on a nature trail.

About: I go above and beyond for every one of my pet owners to make sure their babies are safe, well taken care of, and spoiled!! I have experience with all breeds, of all sizes and ages as well. I do everything I can to make sure your pets are happy and healthy. I also buy treats and toys (specific to your pups needs/wants). I'm currently working full time, from 8:30-3:30. So I will be with your babies in the morning from 6:30 AM to the time I go to work, come back around 3:30-4 PM, stay for a few hours, and then make one more night stop. Or, I just stay if im staying at my pet owners house. I dont do boarding but I am able to bring your babies to my house if need be whike i watch them. I have 2 dogs and 4 cats (2 of which are kittens) that would love to play with them and I have kennels if necessary as well. When at my pet owners house, I like spend quality time with all of the babies, make sure everyone is fed and taken care of and play until all that energy is out!

I work with dogs everyday and have three of my own, dogs are a huge part of my life. I have a large fenced in back yard and your pet will always feel welcomed here. I work a full time job but I am home in the early afternoon and weekends. I use rover on the side to be able to help you when you have to go away for a vacation or work I have three friendly dogs at home and a large fenced in back yard, my dogs are crate trained so if you are in need of a boarding and your dog isn’t pet friendly I have lots of options to accommodate the situation.

I have volunteered at animal shelters my whole 4 years in high school and had a total of 4 dogs in my home at once for 8 years. I am animal cpr certified. I have alot of experience but most of all alot of love. And love is what keeps your animals safe and happy! I work from home and have open availability due to owning my business. Open space for feeding and playing. Lots of potty breaks! Lots of toys! I do not cage pets unless asked by parents. I do have an open cage that never shuts. Big couch and multiple beds to sleep on!
