“This is the first time I’ve used a pet sitter instead of boarding my cat Cali as I felt she would be more comfortable in her own home. I came across the Rover website and booked a sitter close to my home. My cat has an automatic feeder for dry food as well as a water fountain. So, the only “services” I needed were to feed her wet food in the evening and clean the litter box. I met with my sitter, Amy, and explained how to access my home, where to dispose of litter etc. Amy did an excellent job and even went above and beyond to try and get a photo of Cali, who hides from strangers. Thai has been a great experience and I will definitely use Rover and Amy again.”

About: I have been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. My husband, daughter, and I live on 5 acres with two German Shepherds and a cat. We have a large fenced in back yard and are open to all animals. I currently work from home so I am available most hours. I will be available to work with any potty break and feeding schedule. I will be home with the animals and able to provide extra snuggles. I have a large fenced in backyard and two friendly dogs for your fur friend to play with. Our cat is also super friendly too! Always willing to assist with crate and potty training as well. Our dogs have been trained through Smart Dog School and are well behaved.

About: I have taken care of many pups and built many meaningful relationships with their owners! I pride myself in my relationship with animals and hope to spend my time caring for your babies! I babysit consistently for a family one day a week (Fridays) and go to school online so my availability is almost always open! I’d like to be notified at least a day or two before the days you need care for your pet! Caring for a pet in someone else home involves being respectful of another’s property and being mindful of any and all hazards potential to cause problems with the animal. Making sure to follow clear instructions and take all the necessary precautions with the pet is the only right thing to do!

About: I have owned and helped take care of my family’s animals since I was around 6 years old. I am a dog mom to a 4 year old golden retriever and she is my world. I would love to do anything that I can to help you and take care of your pet while you are away or just need an extra hand. I can go on walks with them, play with them, feed them, and keep them safe! I can also help bathe them and keep them groomed by brushing them. I am a photographer so I have relatively open availability. For stop ins, it’s super easy for me to sit with them for up to an hour, giving them affection and company. For my own dog, we go on walks a lot and do tricks and puzzles to ensure brain exercise during the day. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but we do walk with a leash around the town as well as use a beeping and vibrating collar to keep pets in our yard.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets regularly since 2017, but I’ve loved pets for much longer. Once I adopted my first dog Mia, my love for her grew into a love for every dog I lay eyes on, and I quickly became the designated sitter for all my friends’ pets. I’ve done it all from staying at their houses, taking their pets into my house, popping in for walks or play dates, and even taking in lost animals off the street to reunite them with their owners. In 2017 when I got a place of my own that allowed pets, I adopted my first dog. Found on the streets, malnourished, severely underweight and her hair lost to mites, she had just given birth to a litter. I was volunteering as a dog walker at the local shelter at the time, and when I met her, I knew from that moment that my volunteer gig had turned into something much greater. I adopted her, and 9 years later, Mia and I are one and the same. I have one other part time job serving, so I have extensive availability for you and your pet(s) and can focus especially on your pet’s needs while you are away. I will stay at your home to keep your pet in its trusted environment. We will meet before you leave to go over routines and other details for your home and your pet’s environment.

About: I've been around animals my whole life from owning them to caring for others animals. Patient, good with senior animals, loves all animals, and flexible with plenty of available hours. I am typically available during college breaks such as summer and holidays. most often available for over night watches but can also do drop in visits and walks!! About: For years of my life I’ve not only cared for myself but also for my pets. Day to day I make sure that they live the happiest life possible! Every morning I like to greet my fur friends and feed them their breakfast before I leave. About: I’ve been pet sitting professionally on and off for around 5 years now and am very comfortable with most kinds of animals. I have experience in training pups, senior care, and medication administration. Personally, I’ve had a companion with tumor-induced epilepsy and another with Blastomycosis (a respiratory issue). In other words, I am prepared to care for your animal in whatever capacity they require. Until May, I work an 6 hour morning shift T-Th and a night shift on Saturday. Over the summer, it will reduce to Sat. shift only. Other than my job, I am available to be with your companions at all times of the day as per need. I will care for your pet in whatever way they need. If they must be crate trained at night, fed daily medicine, diaper changed, regular training practice in basic skills (sitting, etc.), frequent walks, bathed, trimmed, I'm your girl. I’ll do my best to make them comfortable with me and happy in your home (even if that means love from a distance for some of our timid fellas).
