“Kasey has been absolutely wonderful checking on our dogs during the week! Really gives us peace of mind knowing our dogs are getting the breaks they need during the day. She communicates very well and keeps us informed.”

“Rachel did an amazing job taking care of my pets. She was on time with their visits and even stayed over extra to make sure they got extra care. All feedings and potty times went as scheduled. My dog Maisey is very shy and she even got her to cuddle and play with her! My cat hides and she even managed to get him out on the last day she visited my home. If your looking for someone to sit with a pet that is people shy should give her a try.”

“Brooke was great with my kitty. She came in daily for a week and I could tell Ravi was very comfortable with her. I would definitely recommend Brooke to all! This was my first time using Rover and Brooke was very responsive which put me at ease.”

“Tiffany did great with our three dogs. It was a last minute request, and one of our dogs started experiencing health issues after we booked. I let her know this expecting she’d wanting to cancel, but she said she didn’t mind and helped without hesitation. We will definitely be using her moving forward!”
“Emma was amazing with our dog while we were away on vacation! She followed all of our instructions perfectly and went above and beyond. We received photos and updates at every visit, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that Dolly was well cared for and loved while we were gone. We will definitely be using Emma again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Kalyssa was great! Very sweet and communicative! Our two cats were in good hands. I appreciated that she sent photos every day and didn’t hesitate to reach out with questions. We will definitely be booking her again in the future!”

About: I have owned and helped take care of my family’s animals since I was around 6 years old. I am a dog mom to a 4 year old golden retriever and she is my world. I would love to do anything that I can to help you and take care of your pet while you are away or just need an extra hand. I can go on walks with them, play with them, feed them, and keep them safe! I can also help bathe them and keep them groomed by brushing them. I am a photographer so I have relatively open availability. If you’re interested in hiring me, please let me know and we can talk about your pet and your expectations for me as a sitter. Looking forward to talking with you and meeting with your pets!! My dog is my entire world so I know exactly how anyone who trusts their pet with anyone else feels. There is so much love and support coming from my side of taking care of them. I talk to them like they are people and give them reassurance when it rains or when they miss you. For stop ins, it’s super easy for me to sit with them for up to an hour, giving them affection and company. For my own dog, we go on walks a lot and do tricks and puzzles to ensure brain exercise during the day. I do not have a fenced in yard yet, but we do walk with a leash around the town as well as use a beeping and vibrating collar to keep pets in our yard.
About: I have owned a dog my whole life, I love them very much! I have checked in a litter of puppies, boarded a dog, and much more care. I take care of your dog as my own! I pay attention to details and I notice things out of the ordinary. I do what it takes to keep your dog safe! I currently work full-time. I would be available to check in before or after work. Morning check ins would vary based on location and distance from my job. I will make sure you pet has food, water, and is comfortable. I will make sure your dog has used the restroom if necessary. I will make sure nothing harmful is in reach and take note of anything out of the ordinary. I will make sure to play with your pet if they chose too.
“Harley seemed to have a good visit with Hannah! It was a semi-long day for Harley in the crate, but he was still tired for bed which means he must of had a good energy release when Hannah visited.”

“Have booked Payton to watch my dog a handful of times now and she is always reliable and responsive. With an older dog like I have, she is patient and great to work with - easy to trust her with my little gal!”

“I am so impressed with Brooklyn’s services and communication. She is dependable and shows compassion and concern for my cat’s needs. I am definitely going to be a regular for her and her services!!!”

“Andrea has done an incredible job at letting our shy pup go at his own pace. We also appreciate her excellent communication with us about how each visit has been going and in arranging schedules. Darwin is more and more excited each time she visits!!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting professionally for around 5 years now and am very comfortable with most kinds of animals. I have experience in training pups, senior care, and medication administration. I’ve cared for animals with tumor-induced epilepsy, blastomycosis, diabetes, recovery from surgery, etc. In other words, I am prepared to care for your animal in whatever capacity they require. I work a part-time position that requires Saturday evenings and at least one 8 hour shift in the morning through the week. Other than that, I am available to be with your companions at all times of the day as per need. I will care for your pet in whatever capacity necessary. If they must be crate trained at night, fed daily medicine, diaper changed, regular training practice in basic skills (sitting, etc.), frequent walks, bathed, trimmed, I'm your girl. I’ll do my best to make them comfortable with me and happy in your home (even if that means love from a distance for some of our timid fellas).

About: I'm getting back into pet sitting after taking a break for a few years - please forgive the lack of activity recently. I've been working as a Veterinary Assistant for the past 5+ years at a local vet clinic and I'm studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician at University of Cincinnati (Bearcats 2028, baby!) I’ve had cats, dogs, lizards, hamsters and more since I was about 3 years old. I’ve always had a passion for animals of all kinds. I am happy to help with special needs pets and giving medications! I work full-time and attend school part time in the evenings, which can sometimes make for a very long day. When I am pet sitting, 99% of my time when I'm not at work or school is time spent with your pet. I treat all animals and any environment where I am considered a guest with the utmost respect and care. I am also trained in CPR and giving oral, injectable and topical medications.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Beaverlick. On Rover:
- 96% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
