About: Hi! I’m a dependable dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, and I make it a priority to keep them comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, crate routines, basic medication administration, and giving extra patience and attention to dogs with specific needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just a calm companion, I provide loving and reliable care tailored to their routine. I treat every dog like family and work hard to give pet parents peace of mind knowing their pup is in good hands. I’m currently a school teacher. So I will be available most days in the summer to care for your pet. This includes spending time with them, walking them, etc. I have 15 acres that your pup and I can explore. Mostly wooded, and does have a small creek. Your pup will get the opportunity to relax and enjoy the ability to either Lounge in the grass in the backyard or go for a walk through the woods.

Khadija was great with my dog Mochi! Mo can be a handful due to reactivity to other dogs, and he's 70lbs of muscle that requires both strong, confident and gentle handling. Khadija handled him with ease, and he really took to her from day 1. He always came home super happy from his walks with her and we will definitely use her again. Thanks Khadija!

About: I spent my youth training to be a vet and fostering dogs. I learned a lot at vet school, namely that I couldn't ever deliver the final act of compassion. So, I turned my attention to my true passion - caring for dogs! I have been dog sitting for over 15 years and I love it. Every new dog that I meet reminds me how much I love dogs. I am flexible to the needs of every dog I care for and will make their experience with me as similar to their home life as possible. I have two dogs of my own, but they LOVE meeting new dogs to play with. If your dog is not as keen to new friendships, I can separate them all with ease. I have only one hard line, I need to meet you and your dog before the stay. I have learned that it is the best way to ensure your dog's comfort in their stay. I did not always adhere to this and I have seen some very stressed out fur babies. I want your fur pups happy and healthy as much as you do! Thank you for your consideration. I work from home so, I will be with your dogs all day. If we have any grocery trips or daycare drop offs, they will be crated for those brief periods. We keep our dog-less activities to a minimum during pet stays. We have no fence and our dogs run off-leash. With your dogs, I will walk them leashed because dogs (like children) test boundaries. We also go to creeks and hikes very often, and your dogs will join us leashed (if you approve).

About: I (Eren) have been a veterinary technician since 2023, working in a variety of settings including a clinic, shelter, and university research hospital caring for special-needs dogs. Through this experience, I’m comfortable with medical care, senior pets, administering medications, recognizing early signs of illness, and handling animals with unique behavioral needs. I’ve also had animals my entire life, from cats and dogs to exotics, so I understand how different every species (and every personality!) can be. I’m patient, gentle, and confident with shy or anxious animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. My partner Luca is also part of our Rover profile and shares this same passion for animal care. We have multiple pets together and work as a team to provide attentive, reliable care. Luca previously worked at the same clinic I’m at as a receptionist and veterinary assistant, and now works in a science lab where he also helps care for lab animals. His experience makes him calm, capable, and very comfortable handling a wide range of animals. What sets us apart is that we combine professional veterinary experience with genuine, everyday love for animals. Between the two of us, your pets will always have attentive, knowledgeable, and compassionate care. We currently have cats, ferrets, mice and 1 bearded dragon of our own, and we hold ourselves to the same high standard of care that we would want for them. Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine because animals have always been a huge part of our lives. I work full-time, but I schedule my Rover services around my work hours so that every visit gets my full attention. I’m typically available before or after work for drop-ins, walks, and evening check-ins, and I always communicate clearly about my availability. My partner Luca helps provide additional flexibility. He is a full-time student and works part-time in a lab, with a schedule that tends to stay consistent for longer periods. Because our schedules often complement each other, one of us is usually available when the other is not. This allows us to offer more consistent and reliable care throughout the day. Even with busy schedules, caring for animals is something we both genuinely enjoy and make time for, and we never take on more than we can fully commit to. We primarily care for pets in our clients’ homes, where they feel safest and most comfortable. As a veterinary technician, safety is always my first priority. We follow your pet’s normal routines closely, including feeding, medications, walks, and playtime, while also keeping an eye out for any early signs of stress or illness. We’re respectful of your home, trustworthy with your space, and committed to creating a calm, clean environment for your pets while you’re away. We provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how your pet is doing.

I have multiple different handling experiences with different dogs with different temperaments. I have also taken multiple handling and training classes with a dog trainer. I prefer the smaller dogs but love them all and would give your pets the best experience. I love dogs and cats and am excited to get to know you and any of your pets. I am currently in the process of job hunting, so currently I have full open availability! I will update my availability if anything does change! About: Woof!!, Hello in dog language :) I don't currently own a dog but have had dogs in the past. I have 3 cats and if your dog does not like cats, they are perfectly fine hanging out in the basement during your dog's stay. This is my 7th year pet sitting. I am very reliable and have pet sat for my neighbors, friends and family's pets. I volunteered for a pet shelter for six months cleaning cages and walking dogs. Sitting for your dog will allow me to get a pooch-fix and send them home, kinda like grandkids LOL.... Thank you for reading my profile. Hope to see you and Fido soon! I currently work out of the home part-time, leaving at 6am returning by 9am. I am Home till 1pm and returning at 4. Thank you! I have a fenced yard for the pets to run and play in. I have a large dog crate if that is what your dog uses, they are welcome to use mine.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Quaker City. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Quaker City.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Quaker City. On Rover:

  • 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
