I have a dedicated separate room and a large, finished basement where guest dogs can freely play, run around, and sleep securely. “This was perfect for what I needed. We had no local friends or family that could take our cat. We were going to be away but he couldn't be at the house because we were having work done on it while we were gone. They took our cat into their home. I was surprised to see they had other cats when I arrived. But one question on the survey was if your pet does well with other cats, which he does, but cats tend to not be friendly with new cats initially so I was a bit worried they'd fight, but they had a separate area, a sun room that they allowed Sox to adjust in and during the week they had sent pictures of him being inside the home on the couch so obviously it was fine. I actually never met or dealt with Sarah only her Mom. Which I felt was odd. I was expecting the person pictured, the person I paid. Her Mom was lovely and clearly there were no issues and my cat was returned safely to me, I just felt it was odd the Sarah was sleeping or "resting because she works a lot" both times I was there. I didn't take any stars off my review for that, because again the service accomplished what I needed which was my cat to be cared for outside of my home.”

About: I've owned three dogs in the past 20 years. A greyhound (rescue), a border collie/retriever mix (rescue) and a chihuahua. Each one unique in their personality, energy level and needs, giving me a broad understanding of dog care. I recently retired and can't think of a better way to spend some of my free time, than with pups. I'm available M-F, and we could probably negotiate some weekends if needed. I love taking dogs for walks. We frequently walked our dogs at Kolapechka park and utilized the dog play areas. I could do the same for yours. Open to broadening my services to include overnight stays in my home once a bond/trust is developed between myself and your pet.

“Kim agreed to watch our 1 year old Jack Russell mix rescue, who is very energetic and has only been with us for six weeks, she's a good girl though. She did an AMAZING job with Jamocha, keeping her to a schedule and getting her to eat well, exercise, rest, potty outside, and sleep at night just as well as she does at home (maybe even a little better, if I'm honest). She has tons of experience with dogs and has studied a lot, and you can really tell that she knows her stuff by what she does when she watches your dog. Jamocha had not been around other dogs and she got along well with Kim's dog, thanks to Kim's patience and training. She sent very detailed updates that were cherished by the entire family (we missed her a lot). I cannot say enough how wonderful I think Kim is as a dog sitter, based on my experience. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would!”
