I had a family wedding across the country to attend to, so I did a test run the week before for my dog, Mocha. She did great at the test run, and for the wedding I left her with Mallory and James for 5 nights. They sent pictures and kept me updated that Mocha was safe and having fun. When we picked up mocha, she was sad to leave her friends and wiped out when we got home from all of the playing! One of my dogs is very anxious and barks a lot. She dealt with it well and realized he was just unsure of the environment. My 6 pound Pomeranian took a few days to warm up to her but in the end she did. Sue didn’t push herself on my dog and just let my pup come to her. She took special care to walk them and make them feel as comfortable in their new environment. Sue also took time each day to send me photos and texts so I knew they were ok.
