Pet Sitting in Pumpkintown

About: I am need of full time employment and have been pet sitting for friends and family for over ten years now. I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them because their love is unconditional. I grew up helping take care of my family's dog for about fourteen years and then helped raise a puppy who is turning ten in October. I enjoy being around dogs and playing with them so I feel like this is going to be the right gig for me. I am very positive and outgoing and love spending time outside. I'm currently unemployed and hoping to pick up as many gigs as I can to get a new routine started as I settled in a new location. I adjust based on the animal's needs. Some dogs I've watched have been incredibly more active and needing of attention than others, as well as cats. It's all about hearing what the owner needs for their pets while they're away to ease any anxiety they have of leaving them.

About: I've had all different kinds of pets throughout my life (cats, dogs, rabbits, ducks) - and have lived on homesteads with farm animals too. Most recently I've been full time house and pet sitting over the last year while traveling. I have completed 24 assignments with glowing off the charts 5 star reviews. “Jamaya did drop-in visits twice a day for our two pups while we were on vacation. Recent experiences taking them to other people’s homes had proven too stressful for our oldest dog (16yrs), so we thought letting them stay at home would be better—and it was! Jamaya was so good to them, and gave them so much time and attention each visit. Best communicator of anyone I’ve ever left the care of my dogs with, and we texted and she sent photo updates daily while we were away. About: We’ve always owned and loved dogs and animals of all shapes & sizes- ours are a part of our family and we will treat yours the same way. Our children will play & pet your pup and help me make sure they get lots of exercise while visiting on our 5 acre hobby farm. We are located in Greenville & are very conveniently located for drop off & pick up. I work very part-time from home as a writer. I choose my hours, and my children are also home five days a week. My husband has an office on our property, so someone is always around for company for the dogs. We have a few grassy fields for running around and playing fetch and a friendly Labrador to join the fun. We also have three barn stalls on the property right across from our house if they prefer to sleep outside, or I can also crate them or put out a dog pillow if they would rather sleep inside with us.

About: I grew up with dogs, jazz, and playing sports. We had a German Shepherd-Collie mix that I was very bonded to as child. Then came Duke, the Dalmatian, and then Kirby the cocker spaniel. When I housesit, Daisy comes with me. She's an 11-year-old mixed breed of beagle, shepherd and lab. She is spayed and fully vaccinated, including Lepto and Bordetella. I'm grateful for Rover and being exposed to different breeds and personalities of dogs. I am available Monday through Saturday, preferring to take Sunday off. I have commitments at Farmers Markets in Etowah on Wednesday between 2 and 7 PM and Brevard on Saturday between 8 AM and 1 PM. Walking, brushing. Play with balls / toys. Prepare snuffle mats and lick mats. Cuddle time. Talk time. Planned hikes and store trips with permission of parent.

About: I’ve had a variety of pets my entire life including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hermit crabs, and more. Currently I have a beagle and a great dane that I love more than anything. I’ve taken care of brand new puppies and elderly dogs, as well as dogs with disabilities. (my beagle is blind) Looking forward to caring for your pets too! I’m working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets while you are away! I can usually be with your pets around three times per day. I take care of pets in their own homes, where they’re most comfortable and relaxed. I follow the owner's instructions closely and stick to the pet’s usual routine to help them feel safe and at ease. I always make sure the environment is secure, keep an eye on them during walks and playtime, and treat both the pets and the home with care and respect.

About: I have worked with dogs almost my whole life, I have experience with all ages and sizes! I treat every dog as if they were my own, with love and care! I assure you your dog will never be unhappy and will be taken care of from the moment you leave to the moment you get home! I am a student so I would tend to your dog in the morning and hang out with them in the evening and tuck them into bed. On weekends they will have my full attention if needed! During the summer I am flexible and will spend anytime you need me to with your pup! In the clients home I will abide by and respect boundaries provided to keep pets safe and cared for at all times. Their home will be treated as my own.

About: I've had a pet of some sort my entire life whether it was dogs, cats, bunnies, lizards, hamsters or snakes! I love caring for animals of any kind. I currently have 3 fur babies, 2 dogs and a cat, and 9 featherrd ones, chickens! Sharing my love for pets by helping out while folks are away doesn't feel like a job to me but more of a fun opportunity to do something I love. I am currently working full time from home with a flexible schedule. I can take breaks for drop-ins and walks when it's convenient and if your fur baby is at my home I have a fenced back yard they can roam in anytime of day. I have a fenced space in the back yard with plenty of room for fetch and two friendly pooches to keep yours company! My husband and I work opposite shifts so someone is always home to give the fur babies love!

About: I've had dogs and cats for most of my life, I used to take care of my parents and friends animals when they were out of town. I have been a sitter on rover for 6 years. I used to do this part time while working other jobs but for the past year I've been petsitting full time and couldn't be happier I live in a tiny home so unfortunately I won't be able to foster any pets in my apartment (only my 14 year old cat and my 2 year old kitten) however I am more than willing to take care of any pets in your homes. Pet care is my full time job ever since the restaurant I was working at closed down. I'm available 24/7 for overnight needs as well as drop in visits! I have two cats in my house but my neighborhood has strict rules about the amount of animals allowed so I'm unable to fulfill boarding requests. However if you have me watching your pets at your home I will give them all the love and affection they could want!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and done pet sitting since I was about 12. My daughter and I love taking care of all kinds of animals. We would love a chance to take care of yours. I’m home most days. When I do work outside of the home, I may be gone 4 to 6 hours. I am able to bring your pet with me, or let them stay in the cage at home. I have a very friendly Aussie doodle who loves to play with other dogs. I do have a small fenced in area and a large wooded area and walking trails.

About: When I was younger I used to care for all sorts of dogs! I am a huge animal lover and love animals of all kinds. I am very trustworthy and will take care of your dog child like it was my own. Several people from my previous restaurant job have asked me to watch their dogs occasionally and I have never had a bad comment from them. As a college grad student my schedule can be a little difficult and will more than likely change regularly due to my clinical rotation this semester. As long as we are both communicating regularly then we should be fine. My schedule is open any time day or night on the weekends. I live in an apartment at the top floor so if a dog was to come to my house they would stay with me and my dog loving roommate. I will take them downstairs for walks and to go potty whenever they needed. Other than they they are welcome to run around my apartment whenever they need. If I go to a clients house, I will respect their house and their house rules and take the dogs around their neighborhood for walks and potty breaks if there is no gated front or backyard. I am a trustworthy person and will definitely give your dog all the loving and respect it deserves while mom and dad are gone.
