About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for. About: I grew up with all sorts of pets from fish to hamsters, and horses. Dogs have always been my passion but I still have plenty of love to give to every animal. I routinely care for my own animals along with my sisters, as she vacations often. I’m currently a Stay at Home Mom to my 1 year old son. My days are full of love and laughter with a lot of snacking and a few naps. I like to keep our weekends free for family time. During the week is all about fun and learning for both my son and our animals. I always keep extra kennels of all sizes and styles for clients so they don’t have to stress about bringing theirs along. We currently have a 20x10 fenced area for the dogs to have potty breaks. I can also set up run lines for those that prefer the extra security of a leash or they can be hand walked. We also have 3 acres of open unfenced land that well-trained dogs can have access to after trust is built. There is a separate room in our home specifically for the dogs, where they can relax unbothered for a nap or just some down time.

I am 58 years old and have extra time to take care of your pet. I don’t work a full time job anymore so I am available mostly anytime I am needed If you need me to stay in your home to care for your pet, I am respectful of your house and everything within it. I own my house and know the anxiety of leaving someone you don’t know in your home wondering what your home will look like when you get back. Your home will look exactly the same as it did when you left. Possibly even clear than when you left.
