About: I grew up on a horse farm, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. From horses and goats to dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, guinea pigs, and hamsters, I’ve had hands-on experience caring for many different types of animals and understanding their unique needs and personalities. During the weekend he stayed at our place, our cat felt comfortable and well cared for. About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life, and with my current flexible, remote job, I am able to work and have time for my passion of watching animals as well! Currently, I have a cattle dog I rescued from Helping Hounds as well as a rough Collie (think Lassie with the long hair!) and a couple cats. I also have a few horses that are boarded off property. I have been caring for animals since my childhood and am well versed in pet and human safety. I even have experience with injectable medicines/insulin for cats and dogs. About: I have cared for my own dog for the past 13 years and sadly he died in February 2025. I walked him around my neighborhood consistently for all those years and now having that routine gone is difficult. Before having him as my own, I also helped take care of my families dog for several years. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and demeanors and all sizes too :) I am attending SUNY Cortland right now and that is the only large barrier in my weekly schedule. I can care and/or walk dogs after 7pm on Monday and Wednesdays. I am available after 4pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Friday and Saturday I can provide care all day with a days notice. Without notice I will most likely be working on Friday and therefore not available until after 4pm that day. I can house-sit on Fridays and Saturdays and into Sunday afternoon as well! I will maintain a safe and calm environment for your pet while caring for them and allow them to initiate any desired games or actions. I am willing to accommodate however you prefer for your dog when caring for them, just let me know of anything necessary :) Any questions or concerns for your dog's care are welcomed and appreciated as I prefer a heads up in advance of anything unusual or to keep an eye out/for.
