We go over everything from vet contact info, to the everyday things- food, exercise, the chasing of squirrels. :) Schedule is tailored to your munchkins needs. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to come and go when doing overnights. We can discuss. I do not do boarding. I only sit in my clients homes, where their pets are usually the happiest. Just like us! (Their own bed, blankie and bowl!)

About: I grew up surrounded by all sorts of animals; large dogs, livestock, reptiles and exotic parrots, which makes me super comfortable around all matter of species. I would love to care for your furry, feathered and scaly friends! I work professionally in animal care and have experience with all matter of exotic and domestic animals. Working in zoos and rehabilitation centers has given me a lot of experience spotting any health care concerns as well as being comfortable in emergency situations and providing medical care. I am a very active person and accustomed to the crazy Midwest climate, so I'll be happy to take your dog for a walk in all matter of weather (permitting it is safe for the animal to be outside too). I am looking forward to caring for your critters! I work full time, but have very flexible hours to fit check ins and overnights into my schedule. I would typically stop in before work, during my lunch break and spend the evening hanging out with your pets. I have five lizards at home that I absolutely adore, they aren’t reactive to the presence of other animals, so they won’t be bothered by your lovely critters. They are also very low maintenance, and don’t seem to notice when I’m not around and don’t get jealous if I’m staying with your pets at their homes.

About: Dogs are my great addiction. I've owned dogs and walked and trained them all my life, but until I settle into my next job, I can't have a dog of my own again, so I'm petsitting and walking dogs for extra “dog time.” I have trained dogs for decades and now I also walk dogs at the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. in the past, I assisted a vets, once in the mobile spay/neuter clinic in the Navajo Nation, and in a few other instances with wildlife rehab and injured animals. I kept all my own dogs into old age and love senior dogs. With my family I raised 2 litters of Shepherd puppies, and Ive fostered mothers and puppies at my home. I work part-time and online, and can fit my schedule around your dog, cat or housesitting needs. About: I am an avid pet-loving White Bear Lake local who would love to watch your pet & house-sit while you are away. I do dog walking, dog and cat sitting, and house sitting as needed at clients homes. Pet care has been a crucial part of my early twenties lifestyle. About: I have grown up with dogs and have always had a deep love for taking care of them. I was born into a family of two dog-loving parents and a yellow lab named Sammy. Since then, we've had a male Lhaso Apso named Tony, a female Chow Chow mix named Ana, and currently a male Wheaten Terrier named Sonny. There has literally never been a moment in my life where I did not own a dog, and since 2010 I have also volunteered at the New Rochelle Humane Society (walking, feeding, and socializing the cats and dogs). I truly know the ins and outs of dog care like the back of my hand -- its more than a job for me, its my lifestyle, and I hope that I can share my lifestyle with your and your furry friend! As of 2024 I currently live in Santa Fe, NM and am offering my dog walking and drop in services in the area, and I am also offering petsitting services in both Santa Fe and Taos. UPDATE 12/26/24 I will be in New York City for the holidays and am offering walking and sitting services here until January 16 2025 I currently work for the Southwest Conservation Corps and my work schedule typically allows me one week off every other week where I am available for pet care. I always make sure the client's home is as clean as it was when I first arrived, and that all doors are locked with animals inside. I pay a lot of attention to the physical and mental state of animals, and if I see they're overheating or in any state of distress I will do everything in my power to make them feel better.

Currently, I’m the proud momma of several furry sidekicks who are all rescues. Canela Sky is an 40 pound Olde English Bulldog who is pure energy and joy! She is my old girl but still gets along well with both dogs and cats. Pneuma is my son’s 1 yr old Blue Heeler who is all energy and play. I also have three feline friends. Chai is a 7 year old Blue Tortoise Shell who was found abandoned and was bottle fed by me. Next is my son's 4 year old, Opal, who was found in a neighbor's garage and has been with us since. Lastly is 2 year old Freya. Oh, and I even nurse wildlife to health when I can. To say we’re animal lovers would be just a bit of an understatement and I’m always looking for new friends. When your pup is under my care, communication is the name of my game! I believe that it is absolutely necessary in order to provide excellent customer service. I always provide tons of updates with accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pup and I are having together! My updates are replete with important information, like how your pups are behaving, what we’ve done for the day, and what our plans are for later. I love to head on long walks, so there’s a great chance that you’ll get some good photos of us enjoying the great outdoors! Likewise, I’ll always keep my avenues of communication open so you can get in touch with me at any time if any concerns or questions arise. Being a house sitter is one of my favorite parts of being a pet sitter because it allows pets to feel more at ease, have less separation anxiety, and feel comfortable sticking to their normal routine. You'll come home to the happy and healthy pets you had when you left! I can’t wait to meet you and your fur baby! I currently provide contract surgery relief work to surrounding vet hospitals on occasion and on my own schedule.
