About: I have had a dog my whole life. They truly are man's best friend. Now that I live away from my family's dog, I realize how important dogs are in providing companionship. I would be honored to look after and care for your best friend, aka your dog. I have also be caring for neighbors' dogs since I was 13 years old. I know what it takes to care for and look after your pup. From ensuring correct food portions at dinner time, to giving them time to play outside, to making sure they are comfortable when they go to sleep, I am able to flexibly cater to your and your dog's specific needs. I am responsible, energetic, and prompt. I am currently a researcher at a local university and deal with people all day. They are, more often than not, more difficult to deal with than most dogs! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or inquiries you may have. I can't wait to meet you and your dog! I currently work from home 3 days out of the week, on most weeks. This usually gives me a lot of flexibility to stop by for walks, drop-ins, or other care. I treat each person's home and their pets as I would my own: consideration, respect, and dignity. Safety and wellbeing for your fur babies and residence is my main priority.

We look forward to having Mariah visit again soon! Thanks so much again Mariah!”

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats as a pet sitter in other people's homes. I attended vet tech school before switching to human healthcare. I have befriended extremely shy pets with love and patience. I have even raised my own 20-year-old cat from a 3-week-old kitten. I am currently between jobs, as I just moved back to Maryland and I am finding my place in the healthcare industry again. All the more time to spend with your furbabies! I am currently available any time of the day or night to take care of both dogs and cats. I will happily come over to feed your cat or dog, and take your dog out to potty, play with them, or even things like provide comfort if they get upset during fireworks or a thunderstorm. I am always sure to leave the home exactly as I find it (unless the pets need cleaning up after, of course!). I always double check that doors are locked, and will send you updates as frequently as you'd like.

“We were so thankful that Danielle was able to let Sammy out while we were out of town. She took him on his usual route and fed him for us as requested. Would book again for sure!”

About: I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all sizes, from German Shepherds to Jack Russell Terriers, Brittany Spaniels, Pitties, and a whole lot of amazing mutts in between. My first job as a groomer gave me experience in providing care for all kinds of pups, and now, I’m the proud owner of a 1.5 year old Bernese! I truly enjoy working with dogs of all energy levels. I’m an active dog lover and enjoy hiking, walks, and playing with frisbees. I also love engaging dogs with mental toys to keep them entertained. I’m currently training my own dog, which has given me an even deeper understanding of how important it is to follow owner instructions and maintain consistency for a dog’s routine, I can administer oral and topical medications to your pet as needed. Our home has a fenced in yard on one side for safety and an open area on the other, we have a small wooded area dogs love to sniff and dig and that is what is for! I can’t wait to meet your puppies and offer them the care, attention, and fun they deserve! I have recently quit my job in Healthcare to pursue a new degree, I have classes Monday through Thursday from 9:30am to 1:30 pm. So I am available early morning and afternoon. And Friday I am available all day. My house layout is very convenient, it's all in one floor and the house can be divided if your pup like to sleep in a bed we have a guest room and available bed, if you rather us to crate them we also have a 42 inches crate that is big enough for big size dogs. Our yard is fenced on one side. Every door has a second door so no animal runs away or bolt through doors. We have several baby gates.

About: I’m currently training to be a therapist so I have a keen sense for emotions… pets included! I’ve dog sat for family numerous times and am hoping to branch out. I love being around animals, am a very easy guest, and will happily send you any pictures of your pets! I have class 1-9pm on Monday and Wednesday but am mostly free otherwise! I get up early to swim twice a week (Fri and Sat), but can go straight back if needed. I don’t do much, so I’m pretty open! I’m willing to do whatever I can to help the pet feel safe and welcomed. Whether they want to play, rest, eat, or walk, I’m happy to help them out!

About: My parents got our 1st dog when I was only in Kindergarten and we grew up side by side, which is why I love dogs! Consequently, I started pet sitting about 15 years ago when I was still in high school. Taking care of my friends' and neighbors' pets helped me raise money for summer service trips. During college and into my adulthood, I cared for our family dogs as they grew old and more needy. Through the years, I have gotten to know many cute fur babies and I would love to meet yours! **Unfortunately, due to a cat allergy, I am not able to accept cat sitting requests.** I am currently between jobs, so my schedule is generally open. I am plenty available to spend some quality time with your pets while you're away! Please let me know if your dog is afraid of any particular people, animals, or inanimate objects i.e.( men, thunderstorms, vacuums). I will always have your dog leashed as we take walks. If your dog also uses a harness, I am happy to accommodate that as well. Sadly, if you also have cats in your home, I cannot provide you with my services due to a cat allergy. **Unfortunately, due to a cat allergy, I am not able to accept cat sitting requests.**

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I have owned and raised 3 of my own dogs from the age of 8 weeks. All of my dogs have been rescued from local shelters. I have patience for every dog and believe that they are an important part of a persons life. Connecting with dogs is such a fulfilling feeling! I am a teacher and do not work summers. I am available any time during the work weeks, Monday through Friday. I am very flexible with timing and days due to a duty free summer! I have a long lead in my backyard that is screwed securely into the ground. I have one medium sized friendly dog who has many other dog friends.

Morning Routine 6:30-8:00 AM: Wake up, feed the dogs, and take them for a walk or potty break. We do work full time with 3-4 days off, so they must be crate trained when we are Not home. Evening Routine 5:30-6:00 PM: Once we are home, give the dogs a potty break and their evening meal. 6:30-7:00 PM: Spend some quality time with the dogs, whether it's playing or just relaxing together. “Raquel has taken car of my French Bulldog Mack since he was a pup. She is so great with him, gets him to eat when no one else can, taught him all kinds of tricks in no time. He gets so excited when I say she is coming to see him, he knows her by name. You couldn’t ask for someone to love your pet as much as you do, but Raquel does.”

Christine R.
“I have known Chris for more than 20 years. She is an extremely responsible, intelligent, and compassionate person. All of my pets have always loved her--even ones that were usually too shy or skittish to allow anyone else near them. I consider my pets to be my children (in lieu of actual kids), and I trust Chris with their care with zero hesitation. Anyone who hires Chris for pet care would easily see not only how seriously she takes any job, but also how genuinely she loves all animals and gives them the best possible care.”

Irene P.
“I have had the pleasure of entrusting my animals to Irene and I could not have made a better choice! She is a reliable, caring person with a genuine affection for animals. During my absence from home, she took care of my cats with attention and kindness, following all of my instructions to the letter. She has taken my two German shepherds out for walks in the past and I can tell you that she has been really great, especially since my boy was quite difficult to handle. Despite that, Irene has had no problems at all. I would recommend Irene to anyone looking for a serious, passionate and truly competent pet sitter.”

Natalie P.

“It was a pleasure to have Natalie walk Stella this week. Stella looked happy and relaxed after each walk. We will keep her in mind for the future.”

Jackson B.
“Jackson took amazing care of my cat Gibby for a full week, which included feeding him consistently, maintaining his routine, and spending quality time playing with him. Gibby can be shy, but he warmed up to Jackson quickly, which says a lot! Jackson is a responsible, kind, and intelligent master’s student who approaches pet care with true patience and compassion. He sent me updates while I was away, which gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend Jackson as a trustworthy and loving pet caregiver. Your furry friend will be in great hands!”

Kara J.
“Kara cared for our dog Daisy (peekapoo) while my husband and I travelled for a week. Daisy was an old gal (14 at the time), with a recent hip injury, but as full of joy as she was as a puppy. Kara was a former student of mine, and I knew her to be responsible, compassionate, and kind. Husband and I had exactly ZERO second thoughts about the care Daisy would get; walkies, meds, playtime, and snuggles were in capable and loving hands.”

Kelsey W.Star Sitter
“Kelsey is very reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. Every pet she has owned she has loved like they were her child. I know for a fact that she will be an incredible companion to any animal she cares for. I have no doubt that she will go above and beyond to make any pet and their owner happy that they chose her.”
