I am a retired nurse practitioner and home most hours of each day. We live in a dog walking community and close to parks ideal for long walks. Loch Raven Reservoir is close to our home with many great trails. I have a fenced yard with a pool. I would not leave any dog alone in the yard, our neighborhood is great for walking. I will only take pets friendly to children.

My campus is only a 10-minute drive away, which means I can easily come home to check on your pet every 2-4 hours, or as often as needed. My neighborhood has plenty of green spaces and safe areas, perfect for long walks and playtime. I only take on one boarding client at a time, which could include two dogs per board if they come from the same client. My home features a secure, fenced-in backyard with plenty of grass, giving your pet a safe space to play and take comfortable potty breaks. About: My parents got our 1st dog when I was only in Kindergarten and we grew up side by side, which is why I love dogs! Consequently, I started pet sitting about 15 years ago when I was still in high school. Taking care of my friends' and neighbors' pets helped me raise money for summer service trips. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. Pets have always been an important part of my life, and the experience I have gained caring for them has given me a deep appreciation for the responsibility, patients, and companionship that come with animal care. I am home for college for the summer (June-August), so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available to help out at you and your pets convince. I have a secluded backyard along with a large, walkable neighborhood and fields and trails within walking distance. There are cats inside the house and dogs in neighboring yards. I am happy to provide your dog with its own, cat-free room if it's preferred.
