About: I have experience working with all kinds of dogs: big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, sick dogs, and dogs with behavioral issues. I also have experience caring for cats, reptiles, and fish. I’m detail oriented, patient, and am always aware of my surroundings to ensure both my and your pets safety. I have experience with dogs that need special attention or extra care including those with behavioral issues like anxiety, fear, or reactivity. I have 3 Australian shepherds that keep me on my toes and 3 cats! I routinely take the dogs for a walk or hike while the cats nap around the house. Right now, I am available most days and times to check in on a pet or take them for a walk. Almost anyone with an Australian shepherd will tell you that they can be quite particular and high energy—I know that mine are! I’ve taken several classes to learn about safety during walks, how to recognize cues before a reactive incident, and how to control a dog if they get out of control. I will always check in with you before taking your pet somewhere and be sure to follow any directions you give me.

About: Our family currently has 8 pets ( 2 dogs, 4 cats, and 1 rabbits.) Inside our family unit pets are a responsibility of love we all take on. This has allowed my children to see the deeper side of what it takes to love an animal. Slowly gaining trust with each pet has become second nature to us. I Grew up my whole life with animals, but personally started caring for pets myself at 16 starting with a ferret. We have walked the road of behavioral issues to old aged pets as well. This year I started pet sitting and decided to continue that journey. Thanks for considering our family to care for your family while you're away. We are a homeschool family which allows our time to be extremely flexible. While we are busy, we are also the only ones dictating our time. So we manage time well and around the families we are helping. Obviously during summer school is out for us and the fun begins. At our home we have a fenced section and an electric fence for our pets that covers 4 acres. If your pet is trained on this type of fence he/she can run the whole yard. If they are not trained on electric fences they can run in our fenced in area attached to the back of our home. Inside that fenced in area is another fence around our unground pool. We are offering doggie swim & splash time in the inground pool. We will also have a baby pool they can jump in. We have 4 dog kennels in our air conditioned/ heated garage for boarding when they are not playing outside. Garage door will be kept shut and only a side locked door will be used to enter in and out of. I will also be getting dog first aid/CPR certified soon. Our vets office is 2 minutes down the road from us as well. I will also be cleaning the kennels between each dog with the same chemicals the vet uses to kill diseases and is safe for animals. Knowing your dogs temperament and personality will help us secure his/her safety and others. We have a questionnaire to help us get to know your pet and it’s needs.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner all my life (dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, horses, goats, pot-belly pigs, etc.) until a few years ago when I lost my last dog. I decided then that I wasn't going to get a new dog or cat, at least for now, and only love on others' pets. I've been pet and housesitting for the last five+ years, am extremely responsible, and have excellent local references. I'm a freelance book editor and formatter working from home (I also build websites), have a flexible schedule, and am able to work from anywhere with good wifi signal that I can have access to. I also work a part-time job in Oldham County that I go to several times a week so pets must be able to stay alone at least 7 hours at a time. Because I primarily work from wherever I'm staying, I cannot stay with high-maintenance pets who require a high amount of attention. I am living in the east end of Louisville (Prospect) area and would love to help you with your pet needs! Non-smoking homes only please! Rates for house and pet sitting are for a 24 hour period, so anything beyond that will be an additional $15.00/hour (or a full-day rate, whichever is less - NOT the extended care rates just added by Rover that they will not let me remove). Please let me know if you have any questions! Since I work a part-time job, the pets must be able to stay at home for at least 7 hours at a time. Other days I work from wherever I'm staying. Each pet and family have various needs so I will discuss particulars with you before the stay to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.

About: Hi everyone. My name is Courtney. I have 2 dogs of my own and have experience with cats, horses, and other farm animals! I have been house sitting for several years for family member and friends. Looking to branch out a bit and pick up my own clientele. I offer in your home animal sitting which also includes getting the mail, watering plants etc. I also offer drop in and dog walking. About: I am a recent college graduate and frequently volunteer with KCPP (every Sunday) doing dogs day out and am also in the process of becoming a foster. I have experience with dogs ranging from LARGE to small, and have a hard headed pitbull at home. I love all dogs and would love to become a frequent reliable sitter. I have TONS of repeat clients on and off of rover and would love to build a relationship with you and your pets! I have an apartment with a patio and open door. Nova spends a lot of time on the patio and we take long walks atleast every 4 hours including small potty breaks. I keep my dog very active and feed her twice daily, she’s allowed on furniture and in my bed. Dog sitting is currently my only source of income and has my full attention! I have tons of free time in my search for a full time job after recently graduating. I can do both! I often stay in my regular clients home and would need to do a meet and greet with my dog beforehand.

About: i’ve had dogs my entire life boxer, beagles, labs, poodles, i've walked, fed, and bathed them for as long as i can remember, taking care of dogs brings me joy, and i would treat your dog as my own i currently work night shift at ups, so i can’t stay the night or board the dogs but i can come over in the morning and walk or take care of them i also go to the gym everyday and physically fit to take care of them i am very respectful of other peoples houses, and of their pets, i would create a loving and safe environment and i can tend to anything needed

About: Ive raised dogs and cats, bred dogs and have always had at least one pet. I have taken care of my daughter's two dogs. I grew up on a farm in indiana. We had farm animals and cats, kittens and a dog or two. Im retired and looking for part time work. I love animals and love being outside to walk and play with client's pets. I love to be busy and get out and meet people, pets and get some exercise. I can't take care of pets at my home but will come to you if that is okay. I would make sure to follow a client instructions on walking, feeding etc.

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 12. I am 29. I have owned over 30 animals of different breeds! I taken care of dogs ranging from 2lbs to over 200lbs. Dogs love me! I have dealt with both Aggressive and Sweet dogs. I also have experience with Cats, Reptiles and Guinea Pigs. I am patient and loving to all animals! I am a stay at home mom with 4 kids that I also homeschool. I am available from 6am to 3pm as my husband works 4-12. I am have my dogs on a feeding schedule so they eat the same time everyday and go outside the same time everyday! I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, fish and a bunch of guinea pigs. About: I was raised on a farm with pets my entire life. I have a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. I have taken care of pets for friends and family for many years. I have always felt a deep connection to furbabies. I work part-time so I will have plenty of time to care for your furbabies! I have a very flexible schedule so I will be able to accommodate the needs of your pet. I live next to a nice park where your dog can potty. I have a very sweet mini poodle myself to keep your furbaby company. We often walk the Heritage Trail and take walks down by the river that I would love to include your dog on! About: Ive taken care of cats and dogs for 3 years since I moved here and I especially love cats and i will keep them entertained I can take care of pets Monday through Saturday and will take care of them I will groom there fur and take them on walks I can walk them in the yard play with them outside feed them take them on potty breaks give them a bath if needed or just relax with them.

About: Hi! My name is Allie! My life revolves around my two border collies. We are constantly off finding adventures...hiking down new trails, swimming in lakes, herding sheep! Of course, we love an inside, sit on the couch type of day, as well. Whichever kind of day your pet needs, I would love the opportunity to care for them. I attended three years of veterinary technician school and have worked in several hospitals and shelter settings. From all those experiences, I learned how to interact with different personalities and treat medical emergencies. I am now in a different field that allows me to work from home the majority of the time. Therefore, I will be available to spend all day with your pets! I have also had horses my whole life and grew up working on ranches. If you have a hobby farm or other animals that need to be cared for, I am happy to do that as well! Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. I can't wait to meet you and your furry ones! I work from home most days. If I am called away, then it is for a couple hours at a time. My goal is to never leave your pup alone for more than a couple of hours. In that time, they can either be crated or have full access to our guest room for all their napping needs. :) I have a very large, fully fenced in backyard to play in. I have two border collies that have never met a stranger. Depending on your dogs needs, we will take the proper steps to ensure every one is safe and happy for the entirety of their stay.
