About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember! 🐶 I currently have three dogs of my own and have experience caring for dogs of all ages, including my beloved senior dog who lived to be 17 years old. Having dogs throughout my life has taught me how different each dog can be, from energetic pups who love to play and explore to older dogs who need extra patience, comfort, and care. I’m attentive to their individual personalities, routines, and needs, and I’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! ❤️ I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to provide attentive, reliable pet care. I’m available on weekends and can accommodate a variety of schedules, including walks, drop-in visits, and longer stays when needed. I’m happy to work with each pet’s routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and care. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable looking after your pets, and I’ll treat every visit as an opportunity to give them the same love and attention I would give my own. When caring for pets in their home, my priority is to keep them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s specific needs, personality, feeding schedule, medications if needed, exercise routine, and any house rules their family has in place. I’m respectful of my clients’ homes and always make sure to leave things clean and just as I found them. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and receiving plenty of love and attention while you’re away!

About: I’ve cared for dogs for years through family, friends, and people in my neighborhood. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, boarding, giving lots of attention, and keeping up with each pet’s usual routine. I know every dog has a different personality, so I try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and I’m available seven days a week. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in my home or in their owner’s home. I pay close attention to instructions, routines, feeding schedules, and any special needs. I keep a clean, calm environment, make sure doors and leashes are secure, and give pets plenty of patience, affection, and supervision.

About: I have over 6 years of experience caring for dogs, including working for a professional dog sitting company during the summer. I also have two dogs of my own—a Siberian Husky and a German Shepherd/Husky mix—who I’ve raised since they were puppies. Training them from a young age taught me patience, consistency, and how to reinforce good behavior. I walk them 2–3 times a day and understand the importance of exercise, routine, and mental stimulation. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels, and I’ll treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I recently graduated with my master’s degree, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate most bookings throughout the week. I’m available Monday, Wednesday through Sunday, with Tuesdays being my only limited day. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, daycare, or overnight care, I’m committed to providing reliable, attentive care that fits your schedule. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m patient, dependable, and experienced with dogs of all energy levels. I’ll provide regular updates with photos and messages, and I’ll always treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I give my own.

About: Hi! I have always been around animals, for example caring for my own dogs and my family’s dogs! I genuinely do enjoy caring for them, and as a Rutgers University student on the pre-med track who has done many hours of clinical volunteering and work, I am very responsible and attentive. I have experience with feeding, walking, playtime, cleanup, and making sure pets feel the upmost comfort and safety while their owners are away. Further, I am very experienced in working in fast paced environments, which has made me more dependable and calm under pressure. I understand how important it is to communicate, so I am happy to provide updates and photos to help owners feel reassured while away! I am very excited to meet your pet(s)! I am currently off for summer break from University, and my schedule is very open! I am available about everyday and from anytime between 12pm-10pm! Your pet’s safety is my top priority! I understand every pet varies in routine, and I am ready to follow all owner instructions as needed. About: I've been taking care of animals since I was 5 yrs old, owning cats, dogs, birds, fish, a python, guinea pig, and a blue poison dart frog. I went to ranch camp in Nebraska to ride and take care of horses. For sitting, I've looked after dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, lizards, and rabbits. I've worked overnight at a kennel for a year which included walking dogs, playing with cats, feeding, and cleaning up: blood, vomit, urine, and stool. I worked at a Veterinary hospital for 8 years. I am NOT a Vet, but I am comfortable with medicating pets, post surgery care, seniors and pets with disabilities. I've saved field mice, chipmunks, squirrels, raccoons, salamanders, and bees. During the spring and summer, I house and nourish caterpillars until they turn into butterflies. Then they are released into the wild. I am available during the week, weekends, and holidays, and would be more than happy to accommodate your schedule. Occasionally, I have my own appointments or family events, but will work with you to avoid any scheduling conflicts. I believe that trust, love, compassion, transparency and common sense are all required in animal care. Both you and your fur baby should be comfortable and trust your sitter. If time allows, I prefer meet and greets to ensure a proper fit. If a pet isn't comfortable with a sitter while their parents are around, they most likely won't be comfortable while their parents are away. I believe it is important to acknowledge and understand your pet's body language and needs. A pet is not just an animal, it's your family, and should be treated as such with care and respect. I will comply with your feeding/relief/medication schedule, because it's important to keep your baby on their own routine to avoid confusion, stress, and bowel issues. I currently have a male senior cat who enjoys being an only child, so I am unable to care for other pets at my house, but am happy to take care of your munchkins in your own beautiful home.

About: Hey! I’m an animal lover based in Seattle, offering boarding, house sitting, doggy day care, drop-ins, and walks. I love small and midsize dogs and cats who just want some real one-on-one attention — and cats have a special place in my heart, I’ve done cat sitting many times and love it. 🏡 Boarding — Your pup stays with me at my place, which has a fully fenced yard, so lots of safe outdoor time and zoomies included. I’m happy to host dogs who are cool hanging out with other dogs too — I keep it small and match personalities so everyone gets along. Feeding, walks, playtime, fresh water, and photo updates the whole stay. ☀️ Doggy day care — I work from home, so I’m around and available all day for drop-off and pick-up whenever fits your schedule. Your dog gets playtime, fresh air in the fenced yard, and good company (mine and other pups’, if they’re social) the whole time they’re with me. 🏠 House sitting — I come stay at your place so your pet doesn’t have to leave their bed, routine, or home. Feeding, walks, play, litter, fresh water, and I’ll keep things looking lived-in while you’re away. One household at a time — no juggling multiple homes. 🚪 Drop-in visits — Quick feeding, water, litter, potty breaks, and some play, with photos every visit so you know all is well. 🐕 Dog walks — Walks paced to your dog — chill senior strolls or a good brisk outing, whatever they’re into. 😺 Cat care — Cats are honestly my favorite. I’ve cat sat many times and know how to earn their trust — quiet, patient, on their terms. Litter, feeding, play, and lots of good company. Why me: calm, attentive, work from home so I’m flexible all day, love dogs and especially cats (lots of cat sitting experience), fenced yard for boarding and daycare, totally fine with multi-dog households, easy to reach, and comfortable with senior or special-needs pets. Hours: 8AM–10PM. I am available for dog boarding, dog day care, dog walking and house-sitting for cats and dogs during the week, at weekends and holidays. And I will be thrilled to take a good care of all dogs and cats. Cheers! I love dogs and cats. I offer dog walks and cat feeding services now in the neighborhood. I can also do Housesitting during the week and weekends.

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and have experience taking care of both dogs and cats. Over the past six years, I’ve been responsible for feeding, walking, playing with, and providing general care and attention to my own dog. These last few years I’ve also pet sat for my family members and friends, taking care of their dogs and cats. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and ensuring that they feel well taken care of and loved! I am currently a student at Iowa State University, but everyday I have breaks or long stretches of time where I can drop in on and take care of your pets! I always ensure that I go over with any rules/boundaries with clients and to ask about any additional care towards the pet (like administering medicine). I like to know whatever works best for you and your pets!

  • 87% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
