Kathy and Tim took care of Bodie over Thanksgiving week and our pooch had a great stay! We received daily updates and photos and we could tell he felt quite at home. Their dog, Bailey, is well-mannered and friendly to people and other dogs - not a concern at all for Bodie (who's a bit picky about other dogs). We are THRILLED we found a very comfortable and caring home-away-from-home for Bodie and already have plans to bring him back next month. Thank you!!

Kate was great with our 2 dogs' second experience with Rover. Our smaller one is an anxious rescue who takes a while to get comfortable. Kate was patient and understanding with her. I definitely recommend boarding with her.

We could not have asked for a better first experience with using Rover for finding a dog sitter. Our dog Bailey was much more relaxed in a home setting than in the large kennel she had stayed at previously. Ema sent us multiple photos daily of Bailey taking long walks, playing with her own dogs, cuddles with her kids, and exhausted from all the fun. We commented often that Bailey won't want to come home with us since she's having so much fun while we're away. Thank you Ema & family for taking wonderful care of Bailey!

Spencer was perfect! He was very attentive and caring. My dog is a 15 year old senior with medical issues and he was super open to giving pet sitting with him a try and cared for him just as well (if not better) than we would've. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely hope to get Spencer again next time we need a trusted sitter.

Caitlin and her family watched our two miniature poodles for 8 days. She consistently sent us pictures of them so we could see how they were doing. When we picked up the dogs, they were not excited to leave. Her children were adorable and really bonded with our dogs. I will definitely be using her again.

Angi and her husband Dave are wonderful dog sitters! This was our first time leaving our 5 month old cavalier, Lily. The frequent updates and pictures were great comfort in knowing Lily was enjoying herself! Lily was taken on lots of walks and received a lot of love and attention. I would recommend Angi to anyone looking for a kind, caring, dog-loving person!

About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.

Dianna and Matthew were so accommodating and wonderful with our dog Reese! They sent consistent updates, wonderful photos and took great care of her. I was nervous to leave my dog somewhere unfamiliar but they were so patient with her and I would 100% consider leaving Reese with them again if we’re in the area. I appreciated how they made me and Reese comfortable and her safe while in their care.

About: I’m a 33 year old retired dog groomer and ran large grooming salons in the Pittsburgh area as well as here in New York for a total of 10 years. Was also a kennel boarding assistant as well as a vet assistant for a mobile vaccine clinic serving Niagara Falls, Watertown, Rochester and other areas. I have had everything from chihuahuas to Rottweilers and pit bulls. I also have plenty of references and client feedback if needed to ensure you get the care your pet needs and deserves. I have an open schedule so if you need times outside of my availability please message me and I may be able to work with your schedule! I treat all pets as if they're my own so plenty of love and attention any special requests will also be taken seriously. I'll make sure your pets receive the best care possible!

Jeffery was pawsome!♥️?. He was eager to accommodate an anxious owner and an active inquisitive pup. Provided plenty of 1-1 attention to both of us to keep us happy with his creative touches. Meisje clearly enjoyed her time and came home smelling wonderful and healthy and happy. Jeffery definitely enjoys his work with dogs. What more could you ask for! Thank you. We will be back.

Whether it is your first time using rover or 100th time using rover, if Bill and Emma are available look no further and book ASAP. It was our first time using Rover and we, and our 1 year old playful mutt could not have had a better experience. They were flexible, responsive and attentive. The only thing you’ll have to worry about it your pet not wanting to leave (kidding). Thank you Bill and Emma for a seamless experience, we hope our paths cross again!

About: Hello! I recently moved here from Maryland. After losing our pup in 2023, we decided to wait a bit and last year, added two new fur babies to our house. I really missed that energy in the house. I have had pets my entire life & love my fur babies. I have 3 biological children & 3 step and all of them are animal lovers too :) Having just relocated, I have a pretty flexible schedule and am very open to helping with your needs for your fur baby. I do work a full day on Tuesdays and partial day on Wednesday’s. I will be happy to follow your instructions and schedule for your pet in your home or during walks. I am very courteous of others property and would treat your Home and pet as if they were my own, if not better.

About: 2 years ago I got my first dog, Taro, as a puppy of not even 2 months. Since then, I've immersed myself in dog training and constantly get compliments on how well-behaved my dog is. In the middle of the COVID pandemic I took some time while my classes were remote to learn and travel. One of such experiences was a 3 month stay in North Carolina with a family who had raised a number of award-winning, hunting dogs and had just adopted 2 new puppies for training. In that time I learned alot about dog obedience and good manners training. I believe my unique experiences with dogs the last nearly 2 years set me apart from a standard pet carer. I'm willing to walk dogs who have difficulties with pulling on the leash or jumping on strangers during walks. If given a regular schedule with your dog and your permission to use training treats I would be happy to help your dog improve on these problem behaviors. *Note* *I would not be bringing mine or any other client dogs on any scheduled client walks unless you give permission to. When Taro was a puppy I would sometimes take him on walks with well-behaved, older dogs to get him socialized to other dogs. If this is something you'd like me to work on with your dog that can be discussed* I have generally open availability. I walk my own dog twice day with some longer walks reserved for training sessions. I am available after 4pm most weekdays and as needed on weekends. To the specifications of the owner. I take great care to not disrupt the life of my client pup too much just because their parents are out of town.

I left my fur baby with Matt for a two-week span, and it couldn't have worked out better. Matt immediately connected with my pup, asked a bunch of questions about his routine and likes/dislikes, and was extremely communicative throughout the stay, sending photos and video updates of their walks and playtime. He even helped unload and set up my dog's crate, bed, and belongings! Matt is conscientious and caring, and I am so glad to have found him!! Highly recommend.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11 years old. It started with my family dog, along with family members dogs. I would walk them and feed them. I then got my own dogs that I do all care for. I started fostering with a local rescue in 2022. I’ve cared for dogs with medical issues. Anywhere from Seizure disorders, parasites and other various medical issues. I treat every dog that I care for as if they’re my own. I currently work full time, M-F 730a-330p. I am able to check in, walk, feed, etc, dogs before work, during my lunch and after work. I have 2 dogs of my own. We live in a 3 bedroom house. Unfortunately, I don’t have a fenced in yard. I do take my dogs on multiple walks everyday along with utilizing a tie out (if they want to stay out longer), and would do the same with yours, so they get some outside time.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
