“This was our first time using Rover and we are so glad we found Beth. We had the same dog sitter for 20 years, but she retired and we were nervous about finding a new one. Beth was great right from the start. She immediately responded to my inquiry and set up a date to meet. It was clear from the beginning she understood dogs. She was very calm and sweet with our lab Lily. We later left Lily for a long weekend which turned into a very cold, heavy snow few days! Beth made sure Lily still had long, daily walks and fun rolls in the snow. She sent us daily photos and even a video of Lily playing catch which is one of her favorite things to do. We ended up having our flight canceled due to the storm and Beth was so great about keeping her an extra day relieving us of a lot of worry. About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. About: 2 years ago I got my first dog, Taro, as a puppy of not even 2 months. Since then, I've immersed myself in dog training and constantly get compliments on how well-behaved my dog is. In the middle of the COVID pandemic I took some time while my classes were remote to learn and travel. One of such experiences was a 3 month stay in North Carolina with a family who had raised a number of award-winning, hunting dogs and had just adopted 2 new puppies for training. In that time I learned alot about dog obedience and good manners training. I believe my unique experiences with dogs the last nearly 2 years set me apart from a standard pet carer. I'm willing to walk dogs who have difficulties with pulling on the leash or jumping on strangers during walks. If given a regular schedule with your dog and your permission to use training treats I would be happy to help your dog improve on these problem behaviors. *Note* *I would not be bringing mine or any other client dogs on any scheduled client walks unless you give permission to. When Taro was a puppy I would sometimes take him on walks with well-behaved, older dogs to get him socialized to other dogs. If this is something you'd like me to work on with your dog that can be discussed* I have generally open availability. I walk my own dog twice day with some longer walks reserved for training sessions. I am available after 4pm most weekdays and as needed on weekends. To the specifications of the owner. I take great care to not disrupt the life of my client pup too much just because their parents are out of town.

About: Growing up I always had a family dog. More recently, I have taken care of many friends and family member's dogs over the years. Now I wanted to take that further and help out more people when they need their fur babies taken care of. I am a teacher so availability changes based on the season, but if I am able to help, I will! I am a teacher, so during the summer, I am off of work besides a few days I pick up shifts for school. During the school year, my schedule will obviously change but currently have a good amount of availability. I do have a fenced in back yard which is very helpful for pets.
