About: I have a nine-year-old goldendoodle named Indie and have hosted dogs for friends and family. Caring for my own dog has taught me how much patience, attention, and a consistent routine matter. I’ll follow your instructions closely and give your dog plenty of care, companionship, and time to sniff on our walks. I’m new to professional pet care and look forward to getting to know your dog! Pet care is already part of my daily routine with Indie. I’m a college student, so I plan walks and visits around my classes—which are mostly online this semester—and other commitments. I’ll confirm my availability before each booking so your dog gets the time and attention they deserve. I’ll take time to learn your dog’s routine, personality, and any special needs before caring for them. On walks, I’ll keep them securely leashed and follow your guidance about interactions with other dogs. During home visits, I’ll respect your space, check that doors are secured, and send photos and updates so you know how your dog is doing.
About: I’ve got experience coming out the wazoo. I adopted my first puppy when I was 5 years old and have always had 3 cats at home growing up. Now on my own I run my house the same way with all the love crammed in. I work full time but I have a job that allows for some flexibility when needed and a family at home. But I love the chance to make some extra money after work caring for animals. I’m very good at following directions and have a natural ability to understand animals and what they need and want. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
