I have always have time to care for your pets and my wife, who is also an animal lover, helps me on occasion if needed. About: Pets aren’t just a part of my life—they are my life's baseline. For over 40 years, my golden rule has been that a house is not a home unless there are exactly two dogs walking around in it. Having a dual-dog household for four decades means I’m a master at managing different personalities, refereeing playful tiffs, and ensuring there is always enough love (and treats) to go around. If you are looking for a sitter who treats your furry family member like absolute royalty, you’ve found your match!, Reliable, dependable and flexible. For house sitting services I provide overnight care in your home and maintain your pet's normal routine. I may leave throughout the day to go to work to run errands, family time etc. I always ensure your pet receives the care attention, meals, potty breaks exercise and all the snuggles they may need throughout the day. If your pet requires a constant care schedule, please discuss those needs prior to booking. I work full time during the week. When we are away we do not want them to be stressed. I can walk, feed, play time. I can take care overnight in your home for some week nights and weekends when my schedule allows. I am a professional who has worked in the same company for 25 years. Just looking to help out furparents.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life but in the previous 5 years is when I started to watch and take care of them more often I have plenty of time during the week and or weekends to watch 1 or multiple animals. I can stay overnight or do multiple drop in visits a day. I will make sure I have eyes on them on the whole time and tend to their needs when they need something. I will never walk them without a leash and steer away from other dogs being walked when I’m walking yours.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and I currently have 2 dogs. I love ALL animals and dogs will always put a smile on my face. I love spending time with dogs and playing with them, taking them to the dog park, regular park on a regular basis. I have some training background and I am very loving and friendly to all animals. I mostly work from home with a flexible position. My normal hours are 7am-4pm, but I can break away during the day and do dog walking when needed. I live in a 2 bedroom house with a small yard for my dogs. I am constantly taking my dogs to the dog park and regular parks for them to interact with other dogs and humans. I like taking them to the regular parks and woods so they can do their sniffing and taske in all of the scents from nature, which they seem to like better than the dog parks. If allowed, I would provide the same experience for your dogs. If house sitting, I would engage in playful and mind stimulating tasks to keep the dogs engaged. I can engage in different activities, depending on the dogs needs. Some dogs like to play and run, some like to be mentally stimulated by finding things or doing dog puzzles.

About: I’m the go to for all my friends and family for dog and cat sitting. I love walking, staying with, and spoiling my furry nieces and nephews! I’m on a hybrid work schedule, so can pop in according to my availability. Always around on the weekends and have a fenced in backyard at my own home if they’d like to play here for a bit! Always ask for a collar with tags, vets info just in case, their dietary restrictions, and of course I need to know their fav treats!

About: I have lots of experience administering medication to dogs and cats and I am comfortable doing so. I am also comfortable watching puppies, who are not potty trained, and cleaning up after them. I have had many puppies in my life and cleaned up a lot of messes. Depending on your requests (and your dog's preference), I will take your dog on a long (2 to 3 mile) walk a day or to the dog park (probably in Pheonixville: on Longford Rd). A dog deserves to get all his energy out, and I do not charge more for walking them. I recently moved to the Valley View Apartments in Pottstown, PA. I work part-time at The Home Depot (6 minutes away). I have a BA in English from Stony Brook University in NY and I am returning to School this fall, part-time, to begin a new journey in Engineering. I love dogs and I would enjoy watching them and taking care of them. I have had dogs my entire life, and due to my recent move, this is the first time in my life I am without them in residence. Your dog(s) is free to go and sleep wherever they want in my apartment. My dog, Oliver, is a gentle, sweet pup with random bursts of puppy energy. He suffers with epilepsy, which is where I gained experience administering (over fifty: not an exaggeration) pills a day to my dog. Our dogs and cats are free to go wherever they want at the house back at home and when they stay here at my apartment. Although I am not living with them currently, I believe taking them out either for a long walk or to the dog park for at least forty five minutes is essential.

About: I have had dogs for over 40 years. Recently I lost my dog and now I’m retired. I love being around animals and that’s just my nature to me. At this point of our lives, we decided not to get another pets due to our life style change but I miss taking care of those furry buddies. My schedule is very flexible since I’m retired. I can drop in or pick up whatever you need. I plan to walk around 3-4 miles per walk. So hopefully my buddy can keep up with me! ;) We live in a new community with quiet roads. I would walk on nicely paved roads in this neighborhood few times a day, or as many times puppies would like ;)

About: Hi My name is Meghan, and I have been caring for dogs since I was little. I have 3 bigger dogs of my own, English Mastiff Pitbull Mix (9), Smooth Fox Terrier Lab Mix (5), and a French Mastiff (2). I have been volunteering for a dog rescue and helping to foster dogs in home for over 10 years. Due to my French Mastiff having diabetes, I am trained on how to give a dog an insulin shot, and am able to medicate your pet as well! I also have 1 cat and just love being around animals! I’m currently a college student and I have 1-2 classes every day from 8am-12pm and I only go to classes so I would not have any outside conflicts or commitments to have to go to. I have experience in giving shots, pills, and light grooming if necessary. I would take your dogs for a walk, give them food/water depending on the time, and just spend time with them to make them feel less alone.

Audrey always show up on time, communicate clearly, and even send updates and photos that absolutely make my day. Mocha gets so excited when Audrey arrive — which says everything! Autumn was really great, I live in a condo and she gratiously met me earlier in the week to meet my two dogs and pick up the keys. My two can be little barkers but they definitely took to Autumn and did well even on Halloween night. They can be barkers when I walk with them but Autumn said that the tricker treaters didn't bother them at all, so Autumn must have worked some magic with them. I totally recommend Autumn and will be asking her again in the future. Thank you so much Autumn. Appreciate you so much for doing the walk on Halloween.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
